I don't know if you deliberately avoid photographing people on the streets, or the villages you show are really so calm and deserted, surreal, as if they are not real villages, but just a screen, a stage. Or like a museum that was prepared just for you and reveals itself as such just for you and your camera, walking through its streets...
I like the old stone buildings as well as all the remnants of the Middle Ages, especially the Holy Trinity Church in Hrastovlje. Anything that feeds that sense of unreality, an open-air museum, a staging of the past... ♥️

I gladly photograph people in the streets 😄 But the streets of these small villages are usually empty. You can see a car passing from time to time and that's it. Especially on a hot summer day. Not a dog was on the street. I saw only a couple of people on the balcony and in the yard. There is no pub or convenience store, or anything else besides the private homes in the village, so you can't see people go shopping or for a drink like in bigger villages and small towns in the area.
I knew that was the case, 😃 which makes the situation even more wonderful 😊
