I used to live in Poland and visited Lviv a few times. Lovely city full of character. I was there when the tram was so slow I could walk faster to the beautiful train station. I heard there was a lot of work done for the EU Championships. I happily found that many of the locals can speak some Polish there as I don't speak Russian or Ukrainian. I know it was part of Poland in the past. Europe is great for the mix of cultures and how the borders have changed so much in recent and ancient times. Great photos and descriptions with them :)
