I began to devote less and less time to the project of documenting dilapidated housing going into the past. But sometimes I find the strength (I connect to a slightly lower frequency) and go out for photography.
I am currently exploring the city center of Vologda. All courtyards and neighborhoods, and there are a lot of them here, are very diverse in atmosphere.
These barracks are at the end of Herzen Street. They are very nice in terms of their architecture and neatness (rather preservation).
This place can be called the outskirts of the center or border microdistrict.
Some of the houses are located along Work Street, which is located perpendicular to Herzen St.
Even in such yards, residents are trying to block through driveways.
There is a very similar place on Mozhaisky Street in the Zavokzalny microdistrict. The same type of barracks is located there.
I would call such houses semi-three-story houses.
There are long sheds here.
Even such a small plot creates a very cozy atmosphere.
The house, which differs in architecture, also stands apart from the others.
There are still dilapidated housing in this quarter, but they are located on other streets.
