Next to the dugouts, also on the outskirts of the village, there is a whole block with barns, baths and other sheds. These household-type structures are many times larger and stand further apart from each other.
For all the time that I have been photographing dugouts, I have already learned to identify the types of structures by their location and size.
But I still can't figure out the reason for their presence or absence in one place or another.
A lot depends on the soil.
Where there are cottages, that is, garden plots where people grow vegetables, there is a high probability of having vegetable storages.
Where there are large barnyards, most often there are private stables where people kept or still keep cattle.
Where there are many barrack-type apartment buildings, baths are most often located.
But sometimes there are the most unpredictable places where the dugouts are in an illogical place for this.
Conversely, where everything disposes to the presence of dugouts or sheds, they are not there.
