An old man strolled
To kill the daylight hours
Across a stream, to home
He strolled
Seeking comfort from the world.
Not much had he
This life is hard
This life is strange
Some have some don't
Thought he
Oh enough of that bollocks
C'mon
let's mooch
Don't expect much, a little old tin house miles from anywhere
Once someone's home, no heating, no bathroom, think tin bath in front of an open fire. life was hard for the Welsh hill farmer.
A Welsh Hill farmer with a love of crazy wall paper and eye blistering colours
"Rwy'n meddwl y byddaf yn paentio'r lle tân fy nghariad, pa liw hoffech chi"
"Neis, beth am goch"
Think they must have been on the moonshine.
"Beth am dy boudoir fy nhywysoges fach?"
"Nid oes ots gennyf, ond hoffwn ddrws pinc"
Five rooms: Two fireplaces: One tap.
and elecktrickery
The floor joists were pretty strong even though the floorboards are long past saving.
I wonder if the tree roots are undermining the foundations?
Don't be daft the voices said
'tis tin and wood that's all
It's stood strong for many a year
Seen birth, seen death
Seen laughter seen tear.
Now on your way
Do not return
You have seen what you can see
An old man strolled
To kill the daylight hours.
There's wallpaper, so it wasn't a cow shed. What are you doing in the wilderness, miles from anywhere?
I was bored, needed to get out, needed fresh air away from the town. I did another one, that was a goldmine!!!! uploading soon.

lol @emiliovzla, i lived to tell the tale
I like to see such old houses. I always imagine how those people lived, what they felt. As you write: it saw birth, happiness, tears, death ...
