I was expecting little of 'Darnall Central Garage'. It looked small, overgrown, wrecked, and was once a tyre centre.
At least we can walk in, there’s little to stop us, I was thinking while half jumping over the wayward ripped-down fencing blowing around in the wind.
While this company comes up plenty when searched for, finding details on their closure date or why remains a little mysterious that is besides several derogatory and scathing comments on a site I found:
‘Please walk away. These people have a bad reputation.’
‘DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!! I bought a car from them last Sept, by Dec it was scrapped, I went back to them no less than 5 times during the 1 month warranty, no odometer reading, tyres going flat every day, handbrake not holding on hills, temperature gauge not working, engine management light kept coming on, and to top it all the head gasket went, I'd give it a wide berth if i were you.’
‘I got a 02 Vauxhall Astra, had it only 3 months, a right bag of rubbish from day one, never again would I go there. I ended up with only £70 scrap after head gasket went...the last of many problems.’

Could it be that ‘Darnall Central Garage’ closed down due to numerous slanderous bad reviews and whose claim to fame was one of dodgy head gaskets?
We headed in the direction of what looked like a broken-down office, past the smashed windows, and through the wide-open door. At least they do welcome their customers.
There was little need to 'knock' on the window, as it was already open.
Copious amounts of hanging loft insulation rolls were ready to meet us disguising sharp metal dangling poles ready to rip off the odd ear lobe for the unlucky passer-by.
Why do they leave things like this hanging about? The company was formed in 2007 and was dissolved in 2011 (I looked). I guess a business in 'Remoulds' is not so profitable?
Mr. and Mrs. Else seem to be owing money in their very first year. There's no escaping 'Hector the Taxman'.
The office was incredibly small, and while sufficiently modern looking with nice double-glazed windows, incredibly wrecked.
Those stairs leading up to the open air are a wonderful idea in mid-summer. Imagine taking a break from the tedium of the office, ignoring calls about bust head gaskets for a while, and lying on the roof gaining some rays.
Come winter when it's snowing, pissing down, and hail-stoning, adding a roof door could well be a bright idea but when the budget is tight some things do need to wait.
Lovely windows, only to be completely smashed and vandalised by the local chavs, it’s a recurring event I see only too often.
There had to be more to ‘Darnall Central Garage’ than this tiny office. We wandered outside to take in the rest of the sights.
I am guessing the tyre bay is now a place for digital artwork in the form of 'cock art'.
This looked like somewhere to skate, or was I seeing things?
That’s very appealing for the local skaters, but was it written by ‘The Management’ or by someone else? What is ‘tag on ramps?’ Forgive me, I haven’t used a Skateboard in decades.
The ramps contained some local ‘artwork’, is that what you would call it?
I was skeptical, but who else would have built this mini-skate area apart from the owners?
With words such as 'Christ the Gospel' and black crosses, I was feeling a little closer to the eternal one above…
… and then seeing... 'Fuck you and ur Dad', well..., normality instantly returns.

Obviously, as a skater, you need to avoid the broken glass when launching yourself down the ramp, if you don't want to take a tumble and slash your arms and hands when the ground becomes uneven.
The ‘No Vandalism’ does not extend to graffiti. This was Sheffield which means there are some decent artists.
As well as your common vandal, window smasher, and aspiring arsonist, many a religious zealot has made the pilgrimage to the former 'Darnall Central Garage'.
Ducking low under the metal shutter to escape, we left muttering prayers and with a strange and profound sense of peace and tranquillity.
FOOTNOTE: I have been informed by a reliable source that the 'Skate Park' facilities have been smashed apart and are no longer.

I enjoyed all the photos as usual. You always paint a great narrative. I suppose that could be a nice skating park for a few guys if they don't mind the crumbling building. Well, before it was smashed, anyway.
I'm very curious about your adventures, so some questions if you don't mind: How often do you go on these urbex adventures? How many people usually go in your group? Do you ever revisit any place or is once enough? How much do you plan your outings? Is it just someone in the group gets a tip about a cool place and you all agree to go there or does more planning go into it?

That depends on the time of year. During the nicer weather months, its every 2-3 weeks and is a full day.
Usually myself and @anidiotexplores, but occasionally @lpff joins us.
I try not to, unless one of the others missed out for some reason. I won't do a re-write unless I missed a lot first time around.
Lots, I do the planning and route. @anidiotexplores supplies many of the locations.
@anidiotexplores is more attuned to the underground than me, which is primarily Facebook.., something I try and keep away from.
I think the graffiti is the ‘tag’ it’s a signature 😁 isn’t it great how we can communicate with other people with the same lifestyles, even when we have never met them! These kids have found a way to enjoy skating without upsetting anyone, and still keep the place safe for each other!
That was the case (although there's the issue of the free education in profanity), but it's been wrecked since. I never go back, so can't confirm this.

Definitely looks like a skate park to me. I wonder if some of the wood and ramps are covering up the pits. Maybe they just had lifts in there. Sounds like a dodgy place for sure, but then again, it is hard to find a good mechanic these days. Watch out for that insulation. Those fiberglass slivers are the worst!

Reading your posts is always interesting, its like going across the property as you explore, I work at a car repair shop that is been open since 2017, sometimes its unbelievable the things that have been done to cars that come from other shops, no wonder why so many close or relocate
I stick to main dealerships now, having had bad experiences at these kinds of places. They are more expensive, but don't bite you in the arse.
The artworks are nice especially the second to last artwork photo but I just couldn't guess what it means, what word is that?
They are signatures of the artist, it's wording but can sometimes be hard to read.

Let me tell you I don't relish or like downvoting anyone, but as a decent sized-stakeholder I see what you are doing is using a template daily to post a video and expecting a dtube vote.
dtube doesn't care about quality, in fact the owner despises HIVE and outwardly advertises it. Your content shows the world that 'free money' can be made by simply posting gaming videos.
As someone who gives a shit, I want HIVE to portray quality content. If another 3 million people see what you are doing and copy you, then a huge chunk of the reward pool will be going to people with no stake and who don't care (besides the rewards).
That's why I am downvoting your dtube content.

People might not know how much time it takes to record a video. My videos are generally 1-5 minutes of duration but that is the best run i share on my youtube channel.
My race timings is sometimes match or touch one of the best gamers from India such as GamingwithAwesome.
Also as you said many other can make videos like. Sir, they can record asphalt gameplays but will a gamer go and comapre my run with other people? I don't think anyone will as no one has so much time.
Also there are many other people using dtube and sahring there stuff.

Don't use dtube or it's tag is my advice. I won't DV your content as long as I see it as worthy. Nobody looks, nobody comments, nobody cares on what you are doing, despite the work you place on it. HIVE is not a free money generator. It's a social media platform.
