That reminds me of my days at the flicks as a kid. Cinemas were grand places back then. Looks like that one didn't get updated much. Looks like it's been empty for a while. I bet you smell ripe from all the crap in there.

It's that old smell, but you do get used to it. Don't compare it with dogshit, it's completely different and can be tolerated. Trying not to touch things with your clothing helps the smell to dissipate once you leave.
