Online information about this barbershop is non existent, outside of it's listing on google business and it had great reviews! Fortunately I have now spoken to a couple of people who were customers. One of them said their grandfather, father and he have been going there for decades. They all told me it was run by a man who opened the shop after getting out of the navy and he cut hair there for decades until the building was purchased by developers in 2021.
We have been watching this shop since November, when we explored another building in the same block. On this night we saw that people had been previously trying to get into it and on the side of the building a door had almost been opened but was blocked off with 2x4 planks of wood. Beside the door was a small 1 foot by 1 foot mailbox that opened into the washroom of the shop. This was not even an option in my mind, but my friend slipped right through the mailbox. Thankfully one of us was skinny lol
With that challenged overcome and both of us now inside, it was time for another obstacle. Two photographers in a room that was all windows on one wall and all three other walls covered in mirrors! Somehow we pulled that off and neither my friend or I are in any of the shots!
Overall it was a challenging explore but more than worth it! It was pretty cool to see the shop sitting as if they had just closed to go home the day before (minus the barber chairs).
This place is incredible, it has always called my attention, the houses, buildings, parks and everything that once had life, abandoned. Seeing the pictures I can imagine all the hustle and bustle in the barber shop, almost with several customers waiting hahahaha. Greetings!

Traditional Barber shops much cheaper than the hair salons woman normally use!
