I would like a third option myself, which would be having a comprehensive discussion to solve the future SPS distribution.
In my view, doing it piecemeal will be destructive, so I don't want to start that process if it will just create negativity on each and every thing we tackle.
I believe that only if we have a complete solution that gives certainty to the future, will we then have people willing to sacrifice.
So without a 3rd option, that I prefer then I will vote no here. I would be a yes to a complete and full discussion and resolution, but definitely a NO for doing it piecemeal.
ps... thanks for at least polling the members to get their thoughts so that these discussions are more civil Clay
I'm having flashbacks to the tournament proposals lol.
I agree that a long term solution that is one size fits all would be best, but I honestly can't imagine any way we'd get a proposal passed like that. It's too many conflicting interests and it ends up with a situation where too many people have some personal reason to vote no. If we're going to try to do something like that, I'd suggest just having the foundation work it out, put out a proposal and let it pass or fail. If it fails, it is what it is.
