In recent days, the hivewatchers have shut down all giveaways with their stringent "rules." They believe that creators are repeatedly posting similar content just to get upvotes. The hivewatchers are demanding that creators either host "bigger" giveaways (with more expensive prizes) featuring original content every day or forfeit the rewards they receive.
Creators now understand that this is an unrealistic expectation. It's impossible to create new content every day that readers won't just skip over to get to the giveaway part. Even more absurd is the idea of renouncing our rewards. Essentially, they're asking us to spend our time—time we could be spending with our families—just to give away stuff and receive nothing in return.
I'm confident this contradicts the decentralized philosophy of the site.
Below, you can read what they wrote to @lorddiablo and our response. I could restate everything, but I believe the icon speaks for itself and illustrates the situation perfectly.
This poll is to show them what we, as creators and participants in giveaways, want.
- The first option is what the hivewatchers want: Stop the giveaways created using a similar template.
- The second option is what many creators and, apparently, many readers want: Keep the giveaway posts as they are. We had something good. Stop forcing something no one wants.
Below I will just tag some content creators/readers and please tag others to check this poll as well. I hope that the result will make them rethink their "rules".

Yeah I agree with you, I have also been targeted by Hivewatcher today it is a frustating feeling to lose all the hardwork that have been built from scratch in hosting giveaways

I find it really unbelievable that on a DECENTRALIZED platform ANYBODY would try to imply rules of what can be posted and what can't be posted! If someone wants to post and host a giveaway he or she should be able to do that 100%, it's ok to critizise this and give your opinion, @hivewatchers, telling them WHY you don't like to see this kind of post but it's absolutely WRONG to act against it because it endangers the principles of a decentralized platform.
This place is NOT made to be a just blogging platform for people which don't have anything else to do than to write daily posts during several hours. Maybe it has been started by people that wanted to do this, but the ground principle of decentralisation is that users decide which way it's going... And under "users" we should not consider a few whales that "sponsor" each other and because of this stay the small circle that makes money here....
basically this is what they want. when I ask the watchers why they don't do something for those cycles as they want the people not to get rewarded "unfairly", they didn't answer at all

To appease them with their requirement, I wonder if sharing your thoughts on the card being given away, and maybe some screenshots of battles where you used them will work. It wouldn't be too time consuming to do, and you can reason with them that it is an informational/educational post with the giveaways just a bonus.
Of course this isn't a sure thing, and you have to check it with them if they will accept this change.

I absolutely agree with @stamato about few jealous people deciding what is good and what is not just because they have whale friends! On the other hand my last two Battle Challenge and opinion of them got downvoted as well, so @hivewatchers care about only to carry out their revenge and strangely many other posts without proper content are allowed!
