旅遊時如果有在地朋友的陪伴，除了朝聖一般常見的景點，也有機會融入當地居民的生活方式，感覺也挺有趣。當我前往德州聖安東尼奧旅行時，因為住在朋友家裡，基本上和朋友起居住行都是同步的，所以也就參與到他和其他朋友的夜生活中。
我朋友說聖安東尼奧的生活其實也滿單調的，大家下班後的休閒活動就是到附近的酒吧聊聊天，當時朋友最常去的酒吧是4th Quarter Sports Bar，所以我就跟著也體驗了一下。
當時可能前往這個運動酒吧的時間實在太早了，外加當時也沒舉辦什麼熱門的賽事，所以基本上沒什麼客人，朋友幫我點了杯低濃度的雞尾酒後，就開始和酒保大聊特聊，其中也聊到他們共同朋友的八卦，完全能感受到我的朋友是這間酒吧的常客。
我趁著他們聊天的空檔也到處閒逛外加拍照，和一般運動酒吧非常相似，牆上也有電視螢幕可觀看賽事，以及源源不絕的美食和酒水供應，除此之外，這間酒吧也提供撞球台，感覺很適合在此處和朋友PK一場。
最讓我驚喜的是，當時還有個DJ正放著很嗨的音樂，負責炒熱店裡的氣氛，雖然當時沒什麼客人，但我還是一瞬間有種來到夜店的感覺。朋友說這間的食物和酒水價格算是很便宜，酒保服務也非常周到，就算你是一個人前往，也不怕冷清，如果想前往放鬆身心，這也是個值得推薦的好地方。
Traveling with a local friend offers a chance to go beyond the typical tourist attractions and experience life like a resident, which can be quite fun. When I visited San Antonio, Texas, I stayed at a friend's place and basically synced my schedule with theirs. This naturally led me to join them and their friends for some nightlife adventures.
My friend mentioned that life in San Antonio is pretty simple—after work, people usually head to nearby bars to relax and chat. One of their regular spots was 4th Quarter Sports Bar, so I tagged along to see what it was like.
We probably arrived a bit too early, and there were no major sports events happening at the time, so the place was pretty quiet. My friend ordered a low-alcohol cocktail for me and then started chatting enthusiastically with the bartender, sharing gossip about mutual friends. It was obvious that my friend was a regular there.
While they were deep in conversation, I wandered around and took a few photos. The setup was typical of a sports bar, with TV screens playing games and plenty of food and drinks available. There were also pool tables, which seemed perfect for a friendly game with friends.
What surprised me the most was the DJ playing some energetic beats, setting a lively vibe despite the sparse crowd. For a moment, it felt like I had stumbled into a nightclub. My friend mentioned that the food and drinks here are reasonably priced, and the bartenders provide great service. Even if you come alone, there's no need to worry about feeling lonely. It's definitely a great spot to unwind and enjoy yourself.
