在廈門看遍了伴手禮店，販賣的商品幾乎都是以食品居多，餡餅在廈門是一種具有百年以上歷史的特色食品，最著名的就是南普陀素餅，口味百百種，有綠豆餡餅、香肉餅、椰子餅、還有水蜜桃、荔枝、葡萄、桂圓、草莓、鳳梨、椰子等水果口味餡餅，品種繁多，還有各式肉脯肉乾及薑母鴨等，此外，因為距離金門很近， 金門貢糖、金門高粱酒、牛軋糖、鳳梨酥也不難看到。
禮品店賣的商品，可能本地人習以為常，但是對我而言，倒是是處處是驚奇啊，《百家姓》是一部關於漢字姓氏的作品，據文獻記載，成文於北宋初。原收集姓氏411個，後增補到504個，其中單姓444個，複姓60個，禮品店內有一區百家姓文創館，有各種環繞在姓氏上的商品，例如，顧客可以挑選晶瑩剔透的紅瑪瑙，由店員幫您現場製成含有名字的手鍊，真是送禮自用兩相宜啊！
各式公仔絕對是愛好者的最愛，在這家禮品店，我看到了很多華人元素的商品，像是孫悟空、哪吒、楊戩的布魯可積木，其實我之前，提到積木的話，我直覺會想到樂高積木，布魯可積木是我第一次聽到，後來上網查了一下，應該是個專為1至6歲兒童設計的積木品牌，宮裝侍女的不倒翁也是我第一次見到的商品，更別提各式公仔了。
看到店內賣明星卡，一張八元人民幣，讓我回想起，國中時我也很迷這玩意，那時候，不知道那根筋不對，用我不多的零用錢，收集了一堆護貝明星卡，現在都不知道那些明星卡跑去那裏了，店內賣的明星卡的明星名字，我幾乎都沒聽過，只有一位趙麗穎好像在那裏聽到過。
皮影戲在中國不同區域的長期演化過程中，形成了不同流派，皮影禮品還蠻令我大開眼界的，桌遊在這裡是十八元人民幣起，桌遊其實蠻普遍的，價錢還算合理，回台灣後，我有些後悔沒買個幾款桌遊，我相信藝術西區的文創禮品店會更有特色，但是這家無意間亂入的禮品店，也是讓我警喜連連。
In Xiamen, I explored many souvenir shops, and most of the items sold were food-related. One of the local specialties with over a hundred years of history is the stuffed pastry, most famously the Nanputuo vegetarian pastry. There are many flavors, including green bean, pork, coconut, and even fruit flavors like peach, lychee, grape, longan, strawberry, pineapple, and coconut. Besides these, there are all sorts of meat jerky, ginger duck, and more. Because of the proximity to Kinmen, you can also easily find Kinmen Peanut Candy, Kinmen Kaoliang liquor, nougat, and pineapple cakes.
Gift shop items might be commonplace for locals, but for me, everything was a delightful surprise! In one section of a gift shop, there was a Baijiaxing (Hundred Family Surnames) cultural area. Here, you could find various items related to surnames. For example, customers could pick out a beautiful red agate and have it made into a personalized bracelet by the staff, which is perfect for both gifts and personal use.
Figurines are definitely a favorite for collectors. In this shop, I saw many products with Chinese cultural elements, like Sun Wukong, Nezha, and Erlang Shen made into Brio blocks. When I think of building blocks, I usually think of Lego, so it was my first time hearing about Brio blocks. After looking them up, I found out they’re designed for kids aged 1 to 6. Another item that caught my eye was the palace maiden roly-poly toy. And let's not forget the variety of figurines!
The shop also sold celebrity cards for 8 RMB each, which reminded me of my middle school days when I was really into them. Back then, I spent my allowance collecting laminated celebrity cards, though I have no idea where they are now. I didn’t recognize most of the celebrities on the cards in the shop, except for Zhao Liying, whom I've heard of before.
Shadow puppetry has evolved into different styles across various regions in China, and the shadow puppet gifts really opened my eyes. Board games start at 18 RMB, which is pretty reasonable. I regret not buying a few to take back to Taiwan. I believe the cultural gift shops in the West Art District might be even more unique, but this shop I stumbled upon was full of delightful surprises.
