RE: 每日步行这件事

I think I've translated this to comprehend the basics of the message here.

We spend a lot of time in computer chairs.

A little effort goes a long way with physical and mental health if we decide to make the effort. Maybe it does more for mental health, but mental health has an effect on physical health too.

If the world is glued to screens, what is the basis of measuring good health?
I think I probably shouldn't address our overall style of living and consumption, then it would get very complicated.

How did you get me on this rabbit hole of thought?

It's great to see you @lilacse <3

Nice to see you too :) it's been a very very long time eh? I'm very good at disappearing randomly online...

Indeed! I think you used DeepL? I guess it wasn't too accurate for this particular style of writing (too casual, with some text patterns commonly used exclusively online) but I think the idea is roughly still there. Also I do agree that it's more about mental health, which is really important for everyone. Plus, we can't "fix" mental health with external forces. Doctors can prescribe antidepressants, suggest routines and everything for one to follow, but that would only be on the surface, hopefully affecting what's inside. I personally find walking alone particularly great for a "reset" and that is usually me after work... lol.

How did I get you into this rabbit hole of thought? Well, it just happens... :P

Thanks for dropping by!

It has been a long time. I was away for a brief while too, I disappear sometimes too. It's an introvert thing I think :D

I'm not using DeepL. I'll have to check that out.

I am anti pharma.

Reason why? Personal experience.

What should be a last resort is a first response (medicating) and is a profit based industry where the doctors really do not care about your health.

So now I study plants and discover more and more how many natural remedies exist in nature.

Pharma doesn't make money by curing people :D

We're on the same wavelength , I hardly have to translate your posts :)

Being profit-based really just poisons a lot of things... When we put money into consideration suddenly a lot of things don't look as trustworthy as they should be.

Natural remedies are amazing! I guess you know quite a bit of that now since you seem to have studied it for some time 😂 Reminds me of traditional Chinese medicine where we cook herbs and drink them... They generally don't taste terrible too.
