Yesterday was Halloween and it is the most anticipated time of the year for our kids. It is the time to go around the neighbourhood and collect as much candy as possible. Our kids didn't dress up a lot this year as it was a very warm day but we did have a costume for Taro, but he didn't like it. He refused to walk with that outfit on so we had to take it off.
Our target was to walk around the neighbourhood for 1 hour but it took us 90 minutes to get home. There were so many kids dressed up walking around the streets and collecting lollies in their buckets. Our kids were eating lollies while collecting, and they said it was to give them extra energy to walk more.
We found that this year, fewer people were giving out lollies, mainly because I think things are getting more expensive and the amount of kids walking around was pretty crazy. You would break your bank yesterday if you gave a packet of lollies to every single kid. Taro would want to go into every house with our kids but unfortunately, he couldn't so he had to patiently wait outside. It was such a fun afternoon, everyone had fun. Taro just slept the whole time until dinner was served.

昨天是萬聖節，這個節日是我兩個小朋友其中最期待. 他們會到附近鄰居去收集不同的糖果，一邊吃一邊拿. 今年他們兩個沒有穿什麼特別的衣服，因為天氣非常熱，但 Taro 就有一套蜘蛛的衣服，但 Taro 不喜歡。 牠拒絕穿著那件衣服走路，所以就要很快脫掉。
我們的目標是在附近走 1 小時，但最後我們花了 90 分鐘才到家. 街上有好多小朋友在街上走來走去，桶子裡有滿滿的糖. 我兩個小朋友就一邊收，一邊吃，說這是為了讓他們有更多的能量走更多的路.
我們發現今年發送糖的人越來越少，主要是我認為東西越來越貴，而且小朋友非常多, 如果給每個孩子一包糖，你的錢包都破產. Taro 很想跟小孩一起走進人家的家，但不能，所以牠只好在外面耐心等. 昨天大家都玩得好開心, Taro 回家後一直在睡覺，直到吃晚飯就起來.
