私は昨日誕生日でした。休日であれば美味しい物等食べに出かけるところでしたが、残念ながら平日だったのでお仕事でした。

It was my birthday yesterday. If it was a holiday, I would have gone out to eat something delicious, but unfortunately it was a weekday and I had to work.
昨日は朝から雨で通勤途中にコンビニに寄ったのですが、コンビニを出た際に傘を忘れてしまいました。
会社に着いてから気づいたため、昨日はそのまま帰宅しました。
もしかしたら無くなっている可能性もあると覚悟をして、今日同じコンビニに寄ったところ、昨日のまま置いてあったので良かったです。
Yesterday morning it was raining and I stopped by a convenience store on my way to work, but I forgot my umbrella when I left the convenience store.
I realized it when I arrived at the office, so I went home yesterday.
I was prepared for the possibility that it might be gone, and when I stopped by the same convenience store today, I was glad to find that it was still there as it was yesterday.
昨日は夜も雨が降り続いていて、いつもより運転中の前方が見えにくく感じました。
対向車のライトがやたら眩しいのと、フロントガラスの雨粒が流れないのです。
調べて見て思い当たる原因がフロントガラスの油膜といって、汚れが原因みたいです。
専用の掃除グッズで解決できるみたいなので、今週末に車のオイル交換と共に買うか、洗車を頼もうかと思います。
Yesterday night it was still raining and I found it harder than usual to see what was ahead of me while driving.
The lights of oncoming cars were very bright and the raindrops on the windshield were not flowing.
I did some research and found that the cause I could think of was an oil film on the windshield, which seems to be caused by dirt.
I am considering an oil change and car wash service for my car this weekend, as it seems that a special cleaning product can solve the problem.
