LOOK INTO YOUR FUTURE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE.

I can bet a 100% that most of the things you do for yourself or the decisions you make, in one way or the other are tied to the outcome of your future.

Personally, meeting up the future version of me I have planned out is why I do most of the things I do and make certain decisions too.

I can't really remember who said this but he said " by the time you have a clear picture of the future you want for yourself, they are hard decisions you will have to make for yourself, you will know why you need to cut off from certain people and what/who to tolerate in your space, you will filter the things you hear, the pictures you see and the people you listen to."

These look like simple words but they are deeper.
First things first, it's in having a clear picture of what you want. So the keyword here is CLEAR.

Once the picture is clear, you will definitely know the dos and don'ts and you will stick to them because you already know the advantages and disadvantages of doing otherwise.

Lately, I've had time to reflect on so many things and I realized the hard way that the future is what you choose to do the next minute, hours or months from now. Everything follow!

In fact, your future is dependent of the gradual accumulation of the things you accept, the decisions you make, your values, perceptions and many others.

Before I wasn't quite decisive on what I really wanted. I was just going with the flow and it wasn't exactly a good decision for me. It did not turn out well.
I will dwell more on the decisions part because they are like the crux of it. More than 50% of the future we want is dependent on the decisions we make and the ones we choose not to.

From choosing a line of business, to personal life, to choosing a spouse, to our personal relationship with God and lots more.

One wrong decision and everything scatters. Let's use a spouse for e.g: Ending up with the wrong spouse will affect almost every area of your life. I mean absolutely everything.

And it's where the clear picture comes in. You should have a clear picture of who you want to marry. Not who you think you should marry or who you feel you should marry. If you don't, then it won't turn out well.

Already having a picture will help cross off some boxes or tick them.
For me, the kind of future anyone wants is highly attainable. Whether it's in the career aspect, educational, marital or whatever wheel.

Don't just make stupide decisions and think it will turn out different, even juju doesn't work like that(I guess)😂

The future you want are in the actions you take today, the decisions you make tomorrow. Even if you decide not to make the right decisions, you'll still get a future.

I'd say your future is already guaranteed it will come, but what kind will it be? The one you'll be glad you made good decisions or the one you'll regret for the rest of your life? Everything lies in your hands.

I moved from thinking of short term things to long terms. I'm that deliberate. Before I make decisions now, I weigh the good side n the bad side and make out with the chances of things turning out a certain way.

My future is really important for me to start making bad decisions that will affect me later.

You should think of yours the same way.
Sit down and ask yourself " what do I really want for this particular wheel of my life?" Once you give yourself an honest answer and it will the shape the kind of decision you make that will in turn shape the kind of future you want.
It's up to you to decide if it's good or bad, I'll let you be the judge of that.

But whatever you decide to do in the next hours, days, or months to come, let it be with your future in view.

It is your own responsibility to begin to work things out for yourself. If not everything will turn out like a fairy waved a magic wand and before you know it, days have turn into months n months into years.

Maybe by then you'll understand that time really waits for no man. But it is not my wish.

Know what you want, it will save you from a lot of mistakes and 'if I had known."

You're in absolute control, you and God I mean. But you're a part of it too.
