Mr. Ade instructed his children never to build him a storey nor has he ever visited those living in a staircase not even a company. Mr Ade gave his children a strict warning never to bury him in their houses in the city. Mr Ade preferred a width building than a height. When I heard the story of Mr. Ade, I was amused. I mean in this century who consider a storey to be a sin?
Therefore, I began asking questions and BOOM there it was. Mr Ade had so many lessons about the towel of Babel in his childhood and maintained that mentality from a young age until he was buried that building a staircase is repeating the towel of Babel and such a person is inviting the wrath of God. I was not surprised because I had a similar experience. Travelling with my parent to sit some family members, I remembered the aunday school teacher asking us to pray that God should not make us wealthy so that we will not sin against him. Remember Proverb 30:8-9? "Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord?"
That's the anchor scripture with the story of Jesus saying it's hard for rich men to enter the kingdom of God thereby all rich men are evil and got their riches in the demonic kingdom. I've seen rich Christian afore that day but I still held the mentality because it was from my Sunday school teacher until one day while downloading Solomon Lange song and I heard a voice in my inner man "the man you are downloading his song is rich and still serving God. His songs edify you. is he evil too? If all wealthy men got their riches from the demonic kingdom then there is no need to serve a God who cannot make his men wealthy.
That was a turning point for me!
What's the purpose of these stories?
You might not have the opportunity to choose your teacher as a child but you have the opportunity now! This year, possibly you learnt from anyone ready to teach, in 2022
learn from those who teach the right
doctrines in the right way.
Not every information on social media you absorb and every word said by another you believe.
What if what you know now is heresy? As a child, there were a lot of ideas you never knew were wrong until you grew. In the same
vein, something you know today, you might find out to be heresy tomorrow so be sure about who you learn from because that will determine what you are learning.
Why learn from a teacher who has not experience his lessons? You are likely not to use the information acquired. Why learn from a teacher who will not balance a lesson? Let your vision 2022 be that I want to learn from the right sources not just to learn the popular slang is true "FOLLOW WHO KNOW ROAD E GET WHY" is that the reason the Bible say test all spirit? Test all spirit in all the areas of your life so that you do not end up in a false career, business, lifestyle, education and spirituality.
The conclusion of the matter is this, to build a storey is not a sin but test all spirits to avoid the staircase mentality.
