RE: COMMUNITY FEEDBACK

in Speak Peacelast year

I don't think it's all about paying attention to important information. First, it's about reading the post. As long as the post is read, one surely would come across the captivating details. Sometimes it's not being lackadaisical, it's about blending one's online and offline job, it could be frustrating that engagement becomes too hard.

And You've rightly said, creating contents alone doesn't take one up the ladder, there's more to benefit than just the content creation. And sometimes it's not the vote weight that pulls people, my elder brother left hive because a community he engage in doesn't give feedback on his story even though he was making some dollars . He was interested in feedback because he wanted to grow in his penmanship but was getting none. So sometimes people are committed to something for different reasons.

Personally I love the hive naija community because they give feedback. This alone shows one's post was read, and it's a relief. Most community doesn't even have a huge HP, so HP is not much a thing to worry about.
There may be a lot happening on the chain all for different reasons.

There are days I rank 3rd in engagement on the Ecency dapp and there are days I'm not even among the first 50. So, hive could be a funny place with different people around. So sometimes we may not even know a post was created and that's the reason I once suggested a mention on users who had once shown interest

I used to work 12 hours daily and still make out time to engage and create content. At the end of the day it all boils down to the individual and what they prioritise. Also paying attention is synonymous with reading, I don't see how they differ. If one isn't paying attention they are either not reading important updates or skimping through posts.

I have addressed this severally, no one really owes anymore views, comments, or upvotes. This is why we create communities to bring people with similar interests together to make this whole process of engaging easy.

It doesn't matter how good a post is, people won't engage with it if they don't see the value in engaging. Even as a creator here for the past 4 years, there are days I don't get comments. I still make effort to engage and hope it is reciprocated.

I appreciate everyone who take out time to read and participate. I understand we all have our individual lives and struggles, and I understand that we all cannot give our 100%. For those who can contribute in any capacity I am willing to work with them. There is no room for excuses anymore. Other communities are achieving great things. We need all need to do better.

I stand with your final words..... "We all need to do better"

Thanks
