Seeing the satisfaction of my clients gives me the greatest happiness.
Here's a story about one of my client, it was on a Monday and as usual I was outside my house sewing some souvenirs. I saw a lady looking at me from afar, she then walk close to me and I was really surprised. I was wondering why she must have being looking at me, before telling me she have been looking for a place to make a particular type of souvenir bags for her wedding which was just one week and some days from the time we met.
She had shown the design she wanted to many other designers but they were rejecting it.
She showed me the souvenir design she wanted and she ask if I can make exactly the designs she showed me and I agreed to her that I can make it without complain.
For her not to be worried, I told her that if I didn't give her exactly what she want, she shouldn't give me my balance, she paid advance immediately .
It was just a week after that day I called her to come collect her work that I was done, she was so surprised, she told me she will come the next day to make sure of what I did for her. When she finally came, I was so scared because I don't want her to see any reason not to complete my money.
My greatest happiness was when I showed her the work and she loved the work and said she had never expected it to be that great. That made me so happy because her satisfaction Is my happiness.
I love my work but I love it more when the people I do it for appreciate and are happy with it. That gives me joy.
Another reason why it makes me happy is that when I'm busy doing my work, I feel lively and great. As if I'm doing something no other person can do, I try to do my best at every design.
There are so many other things that makes me happy but I only thought of sharing the one about what I love doing - Fashion designing.
I love my work but I love it more when the people I do it for appreciate and are happy with it. That gives me joy.This is final bus stop where you derive most of your satisfaction. I am a dental Technologist and I feel this inner satisfaction too when I construct some dental appliances for my patients and they are happy seeing their esthetics being restored, their smile gives me more smiles as well.
