I agree with @mukoro. We really have to stand up and fend for ourselves as we also 'ginger' the government to do their part. Salary can never be enough in this country. Yeah, beans is planted in this country - true. But many things associated with bean farming are imported since we are a nation subsisting on importation (stuffs like petrol, fertilizers,machinery to process it and the likes). As you have mentioned food,permit me to say that everyone should consider agriculture to increase food availability. We all will survive this too
