Hello dear Hivians, complement of the season.
It is that time of the year when everyone takes appraisal of their lives and activities so far. That time of the year when people count their blessings and losses and device another means to move forward come new year.
So Sunday 12th December was our Annual Thanksgiving Service in Vertical Impact Church. Sorry I forgot to hint you guys on how it went since on Sunday.
Basically, there are so much to thank God for. Life and health alone is enough reasons to be grateful. We might have had lots of goals which we couldn't achieve my this 2021, but there are still so much reasons to say thank you Lord.
And i got to Church by 6:50am, set for first the Thanksgiving service. Before the service started, I had to take a couple of beautiful pictures. The below picture is myself @talktofaith before the service started.

The service started by 8:30am with worship and praise. It was our Thanksgiving service though, so we worshiped and thanked God for his faithfulness so far in our lives and families through out this year 2021.

After the worship and praise section, my pastor ministered in the word. And his topic was on Thanksgiving.
One of the striking statement my Pastor made was "don't loose sight on what God has done tracking what he has not done".
If we look into our lives, God had been faithful. The life and sound health alone is enough to give God thanks. Even the bible said in all things we should give thanks.

After Pastor's ministration, we had the Thanksgiving section proper where everyone that came to thank God with any substance presented it at the alter.

It was really an eventful day for me, so much to thank God for. 2021 is a recompensation of 2020 for me. I lost a whole lot in 2020 including my Daddy, 2020 was a very tragic year for me. But I am grateful for 2021, there is every reason for me and my family to celebrate and thank God.

Church finally closed by 10:30am. Then we had a couple of leaders meeting which lasted till past 12pm, then I got on my way home.
It was an eventful day for me. So much to be grateful to God about. I expressed myself to the fullest in gratitude to God, for life and for his faithfulness.
Unlike 2020 which was a very tragic year for me and my family (I lost my dad and my uncle in the space of 3 days), 2021 had been a good one so far and I am grateful to God for that.
