Abuse: remembering how deep how this word runs shivers me often times, the term abuse is not only associated with humans but with animals too.
Hopefully i will try to make you understand what abuse is and how we abuse people and animals knowingly or unknowingly.
WHAT IS AN ABUSE?
- In my understanding this is an unlawful ill treatment of lives around us. This may be from violence or our actions.
Let's take into account that abuse isn't only common in Nigeria but it's a global problem. Domestic violence in marriages, relationships are not synonymous to Nigerians but it seems the rate of abuse especially in relationships in Nigeria has gotten out of hands.
Sometime ago , a singer from DMW physically assualted his girlfriend which the case appeared in court few years back.
- I have come across several abuse especially on ladies on social media posts and even in real life, in Nigeria currently it's now a common thing to abuse your lover. Where you choose her as a pouching bag and hammer away as you wish, which often leads to the death of that particular individual.
HERE IS MY VIEW ON ABUSE.
This is propostrous and the highest level of insanity and uncivilization in most men.
The major reason for this inhumane acts is due to poverty, most young ladies chooses riches over happiness. Not all that glitters is gold.
It boils my temper whenever i hear a man say he beats up his wife if she should try any rubbish or offend him. They feel proud of themselves beating up a beautiful soul just she loves him, worst of all is that the men who beats up their women cheats. I guarantee you that 100%.
Some of them even goes to the point of saying that's the only way they show there love to a woman is by beating her up Nonsense, arant nonsense.
So you can't take your lady out on a date, buy her fancy things, love her and care for her with the little you've got. She loves you doesn't mean she committed a crime or there isn't a guy out there morethan you.
Just cut the crap man, alot of ladies has lost there young lives to this abuses.
A man who under any circumstances raises his heads to beat his woman, is no longer a man but a coward and a beast and should be dealth with. I think there should be a law against domestic violence, where you will charge for hitting a woman, just like in the United States.
For the fact you married or dating a girl does not, i repeat it does not make her your slave to be abused anyhow.
Please if you are a lady and you find yourself in a relationship were you are constantly beaten up, please walk away while you are still alive. A ring on your finger doesn't mean you must die trying to please a man, or scared of what the outside world might say. Speak up when you need help before you die for no just course.
The beast you are protecting will remarry 2 years after your death.
WHY DO LADIES STILL STAY IN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS?
To be sincere , ladies have a fragile heart and gives alot of opportunities , rooms for changes to the man they love. They always think maybe he would change if i give him one more go.
I don't blame them for this, loving someone is not a crime but not at the expense of your own life. When you are with someone you know what he is capable of, if he can beat you up severally and naked you outside. My dear walk away there is no change in such a man believe me.Most ladies whom find themselves in such relationship is mostly due to the fact the guy is rich, he foots her bills and all that.
fear of what people might say especially if your freund's or family warned you about that individual before hands.
But its better people say there trash and you get be alive then people saying the same trash when you are no more.
FORMS OF ABUSE
- Beating your pet.
- Beating your partner.
- Sending your child to hulk on the streets while he/she should be in school (this is common in Africa).
And many others because it's a long list.
I would stop here for now, abuse is bad and should never be promoted.
Speak up and save a life.
