Hi, Hive Open Music. Just while going through my repertoire, I found a treasure worth the time and the enjoyment it derives. This is unarguably an old production but yet new because it has been in my archive for months and I just thought of sharing this with you. Practically, I didn't sing but rather, a colleague of mine did with her nightingale voice. 😍
Gone are the days is a song titled and branded in the muse of African traditions and folktales. The song is contextualised in the influence of the African folktales and songs, meanwhile, the song is, undoubtedly a folk song but more of classical. The nostalgic feeling of our early experience of African traditional folktales, folklore, folksongs is the actual muse behind the song.
However, folks, I just hope that you do extend me a grace as there are inevitable moments, demeanor, and expression left uncensored for the purpose of originality of the piece of art.
