Hello everyone! I am @celestyne15 This is my first time to sing here in Hive Open Mic. I thank the owner of this community for welcoming all the people around the world who have talent in singing. I hope all of you are heard, seen, and appreciated.
For this week’s theme “ Break Away” I chose “A Song For You” by Karen Carpenters. It was originally composed and sung by Leon Rusell. This is a well-known classic and the famous Karen Carpenter is a legend. I love her songs. It's about finding a deep connection with someone when you're alone and a heartfelt ballad that expresses deep emotions and gratitude towards a loved one. It also has a deep meaning of love and regret. And I believe I have to sing it for a special someone that I broke away with. It is a song dedicated to someone whom my love never fades but I must move on. I love the song because it has a sincere message and emphasizes that this is a song for you.
