Hi Open Mic Family
This is my song for week 89 of HIVE open mic and also the first of a series of videos Im going to make to try and raise some funds to help out our fellow hive singer @chaste-music
On December 17th her city Kabankalan in The Phillipines was hit pretty hard by a super typoon.
Her family have pretty much lost everything. Their house was badly damaged and the rain and flood water destroyed all her recording equipment ,her phone all of the family's food pretty much everything they had.
Im sending them some cash to begin rebuilding and I thought it might be an idea to mention her situation to this community to see if anyone else wants to help.All the money I make from HIVE for the next month or 2 will be getting sent to chaste.

Thanks so much for pinning the post the increased visibility does seem to have helped ,its already broke all my previous open mic records.
Maybe on Christmas Eve and Christmas day I could try singing some Christmas Carols in the open mic community and ill add those funds to the earnings from this post?

Wow M8 what a story... I hope everithing turns out the right way.
Yeah everything should end well. It looks like i will have around $250 to send them when this post pays out , I sent $100 a few days before Christmas so they have enough to fix the damage.
Its looking like it will be February before that whole area of the Philippine's has electricity again.
My goal is to try and send $1000 by February , I'm on track to hit that amount.$1000 or less is the amount most Pilipino family's have to live of per year. They should be fine soon.
@chaste-music is lucky she has this community's support , many family's in that area are likely going to find it really hard to rebuild.
