Hola, mi comunidad de Hive Open Mic. Esta semana 123 nuestro reciente Artista Destacado @daniky nos ha propuesto un tema que ha dado lugar a que se compartieran muchas canciones de letras inspiradoras. La temática “Un Mundo Mejor Para Todos” toca lo que son la misión y visión de este evento internacional de música en vivo que busca, justamente por medio de la música, la unión entre todos los seres, pasando por el respeto y aceptación de las diferencias.
Tomando como base la línea melódica del tema “Las Coplas” que cantara hace algunas décadas la excelente vocalista venezolana Lilia Vera, mi amiga @sayury creó una letra inserta en la temática que nos une esta vez y les presentamos esta canción un poco protesta y un poco denuncia, que esperemos nos sirva para reflexionar y sea otro granito de arena en la construcción de “Un Mundo Mejor Para Todos”
Hello my Hive Open Mic community. This week 123 our recent Spotlight Artist @@@daniky has proposed a topic that has led to many songs with inspiring lyrics being shared. The theme "A Better World for All" touches on the mission and vision of this international live music event that seeks, precisely through music, the union between all beings, through respect and acceptance of differences.
Based on the melodic line of the theme "Las Coplas" (the couplets) that the excellent Venezuelan vocalist Lilia Vera sang a few decades ago, my friend @sayury created a lyric inserted in the theme that unites us this time and we present this song to you a little protest and little complaint, which we hope it will serve to reflect and be another grain of sand in the construction of "A Better World for All"

La Agrupación Musical Venezuelan Power se fue formando de manera progresiva y no planificada. @sayury participaba en Hive Open Mic, al igual que su hijo @luisfe. Invitó a sumarse a algunos miembros del coro de la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes (En Villa de Cura, estado Aragua, Venezuela), el cual dirige actualmente. Comenzó a participar también @hermaryrc. Entre las dos insistían para que @carmenrivas también se les uniera, pero a ella no le convencía la idea ya que detestaba tomarse fotos. El hacérselas junto a “la luz de sus ojos”(su nieta Camila) fue lo que logró que se dejara tomar las fotos de su presentación. Era la Navidad del 2020 y les entusiasmó la convocatoria a participar con música navideña que hicieran en Hive Open Mic. Comenzaron a “montar” aguinaldos de parranda y los ensayos y grabaciones se realizaban (y se siguen realizando) en casa de @hermaryrc.
A veces los videos los grababa @gabrieljr (Hijo de @hermaryrc), otras veces @barbyjr (Hija de @hermaryrc). Se sumó a la parranda @dyorne, hija de @carmenrivas, y, lógicamente, no podía faltar la percusión. De esto se encargó @orlandobello, esposo de la mamá + de @hermaryrc. @eduarmartinez, quien canta y toca la guitarra en el coro, escuchó algo al respecto y solicitó le integraran al grupo. Posteriormente me invitaron ami, que no soy del Grupo Shalom (el coro de la iglesia) pero sí catequista en la misma.
@luisfe, quien cuando el tiempo dedicado al estudio se lo permitía, montaba piezas en solitario con su acordeón, fue quien se unió más recientemente.
El día de ensayo y grabación era el lunes, posteriormente se cambió para los domingos. Cada quien hacía su participación personal y el resto del grupo le apoyaba. @sayury abrió en WhatsApp el grupo “Activos en Hive” para ponernos de acuerdo de detalles importantes, en el mismo cada uno informa con que canción va a participar, apenas lo haya decidido, y los otros se activan viendo y escuchando el video original y preparando su participación vocal o instrumental en la misma.
Luego vino un paso importante: los amigos @jesuslnrs y @fernanblog nos recomendaron buscar un nombre a la agrupación. Se pasó por un proceso de propuesta de nombres, entre los miembros del grupo y otros hivers. Luego dichas propuestas se sometieron a votación (Se invitó a participar tanto en la propuesta de nombres como en la votación por los mismos a los hivers que se enteraran y así lo desearan) y por mayoría de votos quedó seleccionado “Agrupación Musical Venezuelan Power”, nombre ideado y propuesto por @fernanblog
The Venezuelan Power Musical Group was formed progressively and unplanned. @sayury participated in Hive Open Mic, as did her son @luisfe. She invited some members of the choir of the Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes Church (Our Lady of Mercy Church in Villa de Cura, Aragua state, Venezuela), which she currently directs, to join. @hermaryrc began to participate. Between the two they insisted that @carmenrivas also join it, but she was not convinced by the idea since she hated taking photos. Doing them together with "the light of her eyes" (her granddaughter Kamila) was what made them let her take the photos of her presentation. It was Christmas 2021 and they were excited by the call to participate with Christmas music that they did in Hive Open Mic. They began to "set up" party bonuses and rehearsals and recordings were held (and continue to be) at @hermaryrc's house.
Sometimes the videos were recorded by @gabrieljr (Son of @hermaryrc), other times @barbyjr (Daughter of @hermaryrc). @dyorne, daughter of @carmenrivas), joined the party, and, logically, percussion could not be missing. This was taken care of by @orlandobello, husband of the mother + of @hermaryrc. @eduarmartinez, who sings and plays the guitar in the choir, heard something about it and asked to join the group. Later they invited me, I am not from Grupo Shalom (the church choir) but I am a catechist in it.
@luisfe, who when the time dedicated to the studio allowed it, put together solo pieces with his accordion, was the one who joined most recently.
The day of rehearsal and recording was Monday, later it was changed to Sunday. Each one made their personal participation and the rest of the group supported him. @sayury opened the “Active in Hive” group on WhatsApp to agree on important details, in it each one informs which song we are going to participate with, as soon as we have decided, and the others are activated by watching and listening to the original video and preparing their vocal or instrumental participation in it.
Then came an important step: friends @jesuslnrs and @fernanblog recommended us to find a name for the group. It went through a name proposal process, between the group members and other hivers. Then these proposals were put to a vote (the hivers who found out and so wished were invited to participate both in the name proposal and in the vote for them) and by majority of votes, “Venezuelan Power Musical Group” was selected, name devised and proposed by @fernanblog

Cada domingo la cita es a las 3 p.m. en casa de @hermaryrc, y es una jornada que disfrutamos profundamente. Va amenizada con chistes, música, bromas, música, anécdotas, música…y más música…y más música. Una jornada de alegría y desestrés que culmina entre las 7 y las 9 p.m.
Nos favorece, entre otras cosas, el hecho de que por ser nuestro pueblo pequeño las distancias son cortas y nos podemos dar el lujo de irnos tarde y a pie hasta nuestras casas sin mayores problemas. Sólo @elioe vive un poco más retirada, por ello es su tema el que ensayamos y grabamos de primero, y ella se queda un poco más colaborando con los coros y “arranca a correr” cuando ve que comienza a oscurecer.
Estamos agradecidos por todo el apoyo recibido semana a semana por todos ustedes, algo realmente invaluable porque nace de corazones sinceros. Que Dios multiplique sus bendiciones en la vida profesional, personal y familiar de cada uno. Un gran abrazo desde la distancia inexistente.

Every Sunday the appointment is at 3 p.m. at @hermaryrc's house, and it is a day that we deeply enjoy. It is enlivened with jokes, music, laughs, music, anecdotes, music...and more music...and more music. A day of joy and de-stress that culminates between 7 and 9 p.m.
Among other things, we are favored by the fact that, being our small town, the distances are short and we can afford to leave late and walk to our homes without major problems. Only @elioe lives a little more far, that's why it's her song that we rehearse and record first, and she stays a little longer collaborating with the choirs and "starts running" when she sees it's getting dark.
We are grateful for all the support received week after week by all of you, something really invaluable because it is born from sincere hearts. May God multiply His blessings in the professional, personal and family life of each one. A big hug from the nonexistent distance.

This sounds and feels very tasty, congratulations. You are getting better and better as a group and we will always be proud to have seen the birth of this project that you have, but I don't know... I don't really like Sayury and the others singing behind the camera, I want to see more hahaha. I love that they even have the same uniform. I take this opportunity to thank you all for the help you have given me both financially and spiritually regarding my father's health. It has worked, because every day he is a little better. I send you a big hug... And seriously, I want to see more next time.

Pasa que a veces cuando grabamos en el cuartito no cabemos frente a la cámara porque queda muy pegada a la pared, pero este domingo vamos a grabar en otra parte de la casa que creo habrá más espacio...
