Hellooooo open mic community week 252, I'm back this week singing a song by Asa titled Awe: on the topic : my truth
😊 This is a kinda funny story but I'm sharing my truth here on hive with this song, the yourba singers can understand the lyrics of the song but I'll try to explain as much as possible.
This is a story that reminds me of years back, when I was much younger, traveled to the North for my compulsory NYSC, then I met a guy that was my good friend. And we became quiet close , I was thinking the relationship would lead to something positive, guess what?🤔 along the line there was a little break during the festive period December to be precise, so i went to visit my sister, I had so much fun with her and of course the guy in question and I was still in very good terms, calling and texting that I had no idea what was goin on back at my P.P.A.
On getting back, to my surprise I started hearing rumors that my friend was pregnant for my so called *then boyfriend. I actually didn't believe it cause my travel was less than two months and he didn't even act funny until I got back. The funny thing is she had a boyfriend before I traveled so how is she pregnant for my ex guy??🤔
Well, I kept waiting to see any traces and everyone acted cool. Before the end of the one year, she had her baby and guess what he doesn't look like the ex-guy and doesn't look like her own boyfriend as well, this caused a great confusion and she seemed a bit confused about the person responsible for the baby. Of course I left the guy and her boyfriend left her as well.
The issue made my then guy so uncomfortable, that he had to stop staying in the corpers lodge and the girl was hiding her face. It's funny now cause I'm happily married and I believe she is too. But as for the guy I have no idea.
