Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly live music celebration reaches musicians and listeners globally on a virtual stage, upholding the classic pattern of an open mic event. At the end of each week, we enjoy a community concert, highlighting a Spotlight Artist.
Our song circle is a place of belonging for anyone who appreciates live music. Our creative space offers a chance to build real relationships worldwide between music fans and musicians of every style and any skill level. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are co-creating a more harmonious world by sharing the joys of music.
For the 134th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Perdón." In English, this means: "Forgiveness." This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @yetxuni. Everyone is encouraged to express and connect through: Perdón.
“Perdón”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Perdón.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. The theme for this week 134 is "El Perdón", selected by the recent Featured Artist @yetxuni. and it is precisely one of the things that my song touches, when it says "may love always reign" since love is based on and feeds on forgiveness and tolerance. Forgiveness is what oxygenates love and what shows that love exists.

Que tema tan impactante. El perdón ayuda a curar muchas divisiones, el perdón también tiene que ver con el tema anterior, ya que el perdon es una oportunidad nueva que uno obtiene. El perdón es un regalo y es una bendición. Será genial esta semana.

Hello, community, in this week 134, our recent Spotlight Artist @yetxuni proposes us to reflect musically on the theme of "Forgiveness". That's why @sayury made a modification to the lyrics of the verses of the song "La Matica" (The Little Plant) by the group "Un Solo Pueblo".(Only One Town) Reminding us of what the Our Father teaches us: that he will only receive forgiveness from God who forgives his brothers in turn. Also making reference to the moment in which our Lord Jesus Christ, from the cross of Calvary, not only offered His forgiveness but also asked the Father to forgive those who had martyred Him because they did not know what they were doing. And it concludes with a message in which the effect of resentment and forgiveness is compared.

Hello, my dear community of musicians at all levels and music lovers from all over the world, this week our dear friend and recent Featured Artist @yetxuni has made us reflect on forgiveness in the midst of musical notes and rhythmic patterns. For my part, I chose to work on the song “Forgive me” by the remembered Argentine singer Leopoldo Dante Tévez, better known as Leo Dan, a talented artist whose life we feel we are losing as a result of the Covid pandemic. This song was one of his greatest hits. It contemplates the breakup of a couple. One of the two apologizes for having to break the relationship. Ask for understanding and make sure you are forgiven before walking away.
This situation has been repeated in the lives of many people "since the world was the world", however, this song, in a few words, recreates this story, with an extremely pleasant melodic line and a "sticky" rhythmic base. We hope you like the version we bring to you.

I bring you this song I made some time ago. The music is from my inspiration and the lyrics are from the prayer "Act of Contrition" with some modifications. This inspiration came to me at a time when a neighbor asked me to copy the act of contrition for her because she wanted to memorize it. As I was writing it, music came to my mind and I started singing it. A few days later my brother Edgar died of a heart attack and in one of the prayers that were made for the eternal rest of his soul I sang it. Just three months after his death, my sister Aracelis also died, of Covid. I sang this song again. That is why singing it has a very special emotional charge for me.

I share with you the song "Déjame Nacer De Nuevo" (Let Me Be Born Again) that deals with the recurring theme in the life of every human being: those moments in which we need to be forgiven by our Heavenly Father for our faults with our brothers, for the hardness in our feel, for the stubbornness in our hearts, for all the things that distance us from our brothers and from God. That moment in which, with genuine repentance, with a contrite and humiliated heart, we approach Him through prayer requesting His mercy, that He forgive us, that He renew us, that He make us be born again.
This song has been a great blessing for us, we hope that it will also bear fruit in your lives.
