I feel for you right now @cabelindsay but I think you're right to not allow your ego to get in the way of your present and future. Everything happens for a reason and when we trust the universe and know that our journey has a purpose that is yet undiscovered we can be at peace in our hearts.
I've been single for 18 months and although I sometimes miss the intimacy that comes with a long term partner, I am finding my way and am finally living my most authentic life.
Your song is beautiful and connecting with the ocean or with nature or even both really does put things into perspective.
Very heartfelt indeed and it's always a pleasure to listen to your music.
Sending you a big warm hug 🤗🙏🏻💚
Ps: I love the addition of the melodian! My friend has one and we had a jam on the beach last Saturday. How's that for cosmic connections! 😊
Oh wow, that's fun you jammed on the beach with the same instrument. Synchronistic. One time recently, I went to a fireside jam, and there were three melodicas!!! I thought that was so funny, because it seems like such a hippie / gypsy instrument and they're rare to see. I didn't realize you were single, or else I might've hopped on a plane by now. 😊 I admire you and the way you value your motherhood so much. I appreciate you and the way you extend your sisterhood to me. I honor you and the way you radiate. You radiate. You radiate... And I'm grateful for that.
Are you familiar with this song? It lights me up!
You sure know how to make a girl blush Mr Lindsay 😗
I like your energy too. You are a beautiful soul dear friend and I am super grateful for our connection. 🤗
I really love that song. Have You heard the Castanea remix? It's pretty good too.
I love Leah and Chloe. Interesting fact: a girl I went to school with in Tokyo worked with them in New Orleans about 8 years ago and my friend who owns the melodica met them when he was busking over there too. 💚🤗
New Orleans is pretty near to where I live - maybe an 8 hour drive. A long time ago, I visited once during Mardi Gras and it was the party of all parties. Whoa, I hadn't heard that Castanea remix before. Very cool. I can dance to that! These days, I'm doing a lot of dancing. Do you have ecstatic dance where you live? It's my favorite way to connect with people at certain times in my life, including now. I'd like to try and integrate some beats into my tunes somehow, and make them danceable. This remix you mentioned inspires that fire again, thank you!
I've always wanted to visit New Orleans, there's something special about Louisiana and the music that comes from there.
Castanea's whole album called Remast is superb and one of my favourites is a song called Closer to the Edge there's an amazing drum drop towards the end of the song and the bass throughout is so resonant.
I haven't been to an ecstatic dance event yet. It's not really a thing where I live in the UK but I nearly went to one in Spain. I'd love to go as it can be a little lonely dancing round my living room haha.
Glad I could share some inspiration for you. 🤗
