Music a form of communication and a means to express once feeling
Hello everyone welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 258, it's Icelover again and I will be singing a song cover titled Hate That I love You by Rihanna and Ne yo. The song was released in 2007.
Being a huge Rihanna fan and relating to the lyrics of this masterpiece made me choose this song as my content this week for this Wonderful community. With the theme of the week being Under My Skin, this song is an expression of how love and hate creeps under the skin of both singers, they both know that this shouldn't be but just can't help themselves especially when they are around that special person.
The lyrics of the song takes it a notch further to reveal a sense of longing passion and frustration that is caused by the bittersweet relationship. It's so bad that they become self aware puppets to the games their partners play, they hate it but still can't do without it either. At this point it is not just love, manipulation, mind games become part of the story cus there's no way it's ordinary to keep going back to the same thing that hurts you truly truly they are under your skin.

Al ser una gran fanática de Rihanna y relacionarme con la letra de esta obra maestra, me hizo elegir esta canción como mi contenido de esta semana para esta comunidad maravillosa.
Con el tema de la semana siendo "Under My Skin" (Bajo mi piel), esta canción es una expresión de cómo el amor y el odio se cuelan bajo la piel de ambos cantantes. Ambos saben que esto no debería ser, pero simplemente no pueden evitarlo, especialmente cuando están cerca de esa persona especial.
La letra de la canción lleva la situación un paso más allá, revelando un sentido de anhelo, pasión y frustración causada por la relación agridulce. Es tan malo que se convierten en marionetas autocomplacientes de los juegos que juegan sus parejas. Los odian, pero aún no pueden dejar de hacerlo.
En este punto, ya no se trata solo de amor. La manipulación y los juegos mentales se convierten en parte de la historia, porque no hay manera de que sea normal seguir regresando a lo mismo que te lastima verdaderamente. Realmente están bajo tu piel.

Hi, nice to meet you. I didn't know this song, and believe me, I'll look it up on YouTube because I used to listen to Rihanna a while back to learn more about her discography. Ne-Yo also has some really good music, and I liked your analysis of the song's lyrics. There are definitely some very tortuous and difficult relationships 🙃
