La canción elegida por mi persona para la participación en el concurso es “Luna de Margarita” pieza que el maestro Simón Diaz le compuso a su esposa cuando esta tenia 3 meses de embarazo de su hija Bettsimar estando en bahía de Juan Griego de la isla de Margarita.
La primera vez que escuche esta canción fue un día que me encontraba de paseo con mis abuelos paternos y colocaron la canción en la radio, lo que me llamo la atención fue que apenas al escuchar la canción mi abuelo le subió casi todo el volumen al reproductor y comenzó a cantársela amorosamente a mi abuela quien es oriunda en la isla de Margarita, esto me causo gran ternura y me ha mostrado que el amor se construye cada día con pequeños detalles como ese que mi abuelo le hizo a mi abuela aquel día de paseo.
Actualmente mis abuelos viven en la isla de Margarita y tienen 55 años de matrimonio y son para mis padres y para mi un ejemplo a seguir de lo que es mantener a una familia con todo el amor del mundo, con pequeños detalles a diario para fortalecerlo cada día más.
