Hello everyone, welcome to hive open mic week 196
My name is @kubby56 and this is my first post in open mic community. Happy new year to you, so I have been following up on what this community is about, and I must say I’m excited and loving it already here.
As a lover of music, I am happy to participate in this week’s contest of the open mic community on the topic TUS LUSCOS SOBRE MI which means Your Lights on me in English.
Light as we well know is the absence of darkness, it allow us to see our surroundings by distinguishing details, individual colors, movement and brightness and without light life would be full of chaos.
As a Christian, I believe light is of extreme importance as far as Christianity is concerned because it symbolizes the nature of God. Christ himself said “ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.
Why I choose to sing this song is because I remember where I was and where God is taking me to. He has actually shines his lights on me and so I’m not the same, my status is changing I’m no longer where I used to be, gradually God is taking me somewhereWhile reflecting on this week’s topic thanks to @isbelhiv02 for such a wonderful topic, a song came into my mind by Vashawn Mitchell titled Status and I thought I should sing it
