Wow, @cesaramos this is such a heavy but important story to share. It’s heartbreaking to think about what Alanis went through, and even more so knowing how common these kinds of abuses were (and sadly still are) in the music industry. The way she turned her pain into art with 'Hands Clean' is incredibly powerful—music really can be a form of therapy and truth-telling. Thanks for bringing this up, it’s a reminder of how much strength can be found in vulnerability.

absolutely bro, this is one of those terrible stories that some of the artists in the music business have lived through. sometimes we want that fame, that recognition, but in many occasions there is a very dark background for which many artists of this caliber have suffered.
Alanis, is one of many cases of abuse and the most incredible thing about all this is that she was only 15 years old when this happened to her. these are really terrible things and I wanted to use this theme of the week as a confession in this week of the open mic.
