Week 252 of Hive Open Mic, for this week we have the theme ‘Truth’ for many people the truth could be relative, and perhaps it is true, which leads me to reflect on a song that I love, it is by Joan Osborne and raises the possibility that God could be one of us, something that doesn't sound so far-fetched on the premise that God is everywhere, he became a man once to live among us, so it could be who you least imagine, that person you met by chance one day and he gave you wise advice, a stranger who travels next to you on the bus. In fact something strange and beautiful happened to me once, I was waiting for someone sitting in a square, suddenly a homeless man approached me with a beautiful phrase ‘The day is so beautiful to write a poem’ and that was the starting point for both of us to engage in a rich conversation in which he told me part of his life, how he had fallen into disgrace, and how because of his appearance he had been denied the possibility of working, forcing him sometimes to steal, for example, a banana for breakfast. All this makes me think that if anything is true in this life, it is that God is among us to test our loyalty and our faith.
Semana 252 de Hive Open Mic, para esta semana tenemos el tema “Verdad” para muchas personas la verdad podría ser relativa, y tal vez es cierto, lo que me lleva a reflexionar sobre una canción que me encanta, es de Joan Osborne y nos plantea la posibilidad de que Dios pudiera ser uno de nosotros, algo que no suena tan descabellado partiendo de la premisa de que Dios está en todas partes, él se hizo hombre una vez para vivir entre nosotros, así que podría tratarse de quien menos te imaginas, de esa persona que encontraste por casualidad un día y te dio un sabio consejo, de un extraño que viaja junto a ti en el autobús. De hecho una vez me pasó algo extraño y hermoso a la vez, yo estaba esperando a alguien sentada en una plaza, de pronto se me acerca un vagabundo con una hermosa frase “El día está tan hermoso como para escribir un poema” y ese fue el punto de partida para que ambos entabláramos una nutrida conversación en la cuál me contó parte de su vida, como había caído en desgracia, y como debido a su apariencia le habían negado la posibilidad de trabajar, obligándolo a veces a hurtar, por ejemplo, una banana para desayunar. Todo esto me hace pensar que si algo es verdad en esta vida es que Dios está entre nosotros para probar nuestra lealtad y nuestra fe
