Hello guys and ladies, I welcome you specially to Hive Open Mic Week #246. Season's greetings and merry Christmas to everyone ⛄. My name is @mamab on hive and I am so excited to join the league of friends who are presenting this week on the theme "Christmas".
It's been quite a while since I participated in the weekly edition. The more I tried to, the harder it becomes. Sometimes the grace doesn't seem to be sufficient 😊. I guess this is part of what our boss @jesuslnrs used to face 😁.
Well, I am finally here and guess what? My keyboard has been restored. I actually lost it few months ago and it really affected my zeal since I am not more of an Acapella person.
So on this edition I did the cover of a beautiful song titled "Joy to the world". Actually, I don't know who composed the song, I've been singing it for quite a number of years now.
Christmas is a special time where we celebrate the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. In most parts of the world, people cook all manner of delicacies and organize parties to commemorate the special season.
Jesus took the form of a man and was born for our redemption. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the main reason for the season.

Hola chicos y chicas, les doy especialmente la bienvenida a la Semana #246 de Hive Open Mic. Saludos de temporada y feliz Navidad para todos ⛄. Mi nombre es @mamab en Hive y estoy muy emocionada de unirme a la liga de amigos que presentarán esta semana el tema "Navidad".
Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que participé en la edición semanal. Cuanto más lo intento, más difícil se vuelve. A veces la gracia no parece suficiente 😊. Supongo que esto es parte de lo que solía enfrentar nuestro jefe @jesuslnrs 😁.
Bueno, finalmente estoy aquí y ¿adivinen qué? Mi teclado ha sido restaurado. De hecho, lo perdí hace unos meses y realmente afectó mi entusiasmo ya que no soy más una persona de Acapella.
Por eso en esta edición hice el cover de una hermosa canción titulada "Alegría al mundo". En realidad, no sé quién compuso la canción, la cantamos desde hace bastantes años en mi coro.
La Navidad es una época especial donde celebramos el cumpleaños de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. En la mayor parte del mundo, la gente cocina todo tipo de delicias y organiza fiestas para conmemorar la temporada especial.
Jesús tomó forma de hombre y nació para nuestra redención. Él es el Rey de reyes y Señor de señores. Él es el motivo principal de la temporada.

It is a joy for the Hive Open Mic to have you back, and your talent and charisma have always illuminated this space. I hope you are having happy holidays and with your keyboard now restored we are waiting for you in 2025 to share good music and messages of love in this community. Yes, since I moved house it's been difficult for me to record, plus now I have more work than ever, but I don't lose faith in making weekly music for Hive again. I send you a hug my friend...

I enjoyed your version of this song. I'm used to the usual tune of "Joy to the world, the Lord is Come", but you sang this one well. Nice Christmas top too 😊.
