My name is Marelize and I am a violinist from Cape Town, South Africa.
I've chosen "Please forgive me" from Bryan Adams and I enjoyed every second creating this video and recording!
I never knew Bryan Adams songs have such complex chord progressions. I definitely have new respect for this great artist.
Like previous, I recorded the piano accompaniment first but thought I wouldn't bore you with that video this time.
( I must definitely look into the idea of cloning me to do both violin and piano at the same time)

Oh. My. God. I saw him live at grand west and cried the whole way through the concert. Ironically it meant I couldn't see very well, but it was so emotional for me.
I grew up listening to the "Waking up the Neighbours" album on my little mono speaker cassette player.
I knew exactly how far to rewind or fast forward on either side of the tape to get to my favorite tracks.

I'd love to spend some time learning the piano all over again. I don't have access to a proper one so I need to take my keyboards in to the experts to see what cables I need. Especially the MIDI one
I also want to learn some basic keys one day. Cajon and keys should be my two big investments one day? Other kazoos and wacky little things hopefully don't count of course!
with all of our gazzilions we will earn from selling our cds at open mics, we will build a whole studio! It will have enough space for a grand piano, a sound booth, a full drum kit and a mosh pit 🤣
