It’s a pleasure to greet you, dear Hive Open Mic community! We are already in 2025 and I wish you all a very prosperous year, full of abundant blessings. For week number 248 we find ourselves with the theme Step by Step, a premise that can be very useful for us to better face the convulsed life of which we are a part.

This week I’m going to share with you a song cover title You Want To Know me By( May D future Psquare). As I have mentioned on other occasions, I’m inspired by several themes when singing this songs,with the situations in the theme I have to come with an idea of taking this cover by( May D future Psquare).The piece I bring you today is a Afro pop style song in acoustic version and is focused precisely on the proposed theme, in fact the song has the homonymous name "Step by Step", through which I wanted to express the need to take life calmly, without haste or eagerness but without pause, as I believe that with patience and faith in God and in ourselves we can go far and achieve our goals and dreams.

The composition is in the key of D major with a transition to E major, with a somewhat cheerful melody that tries to convey optimism to the listener. I hope that this presentation will be to the liking of many.
