Maybe it's silly, but when I decided to participate in week 233 of the Hive Open Mic and I saw the theme of the week (Zodiac), what came to my mind immediately was the anime Saint Seiya, and well, for those who don't know, in that story there are knights or saints inspired by the zodiac and in that sense I decided to do a bass cover of the song “Pegasus Fantasy” by the band MAKE-UP who perform the opening of the first chapters of the mentioned anime.
Probably for some people the zodiac and everything that theme entails might have some meaning, but not for this server, so I could not have found any other song related to the theme of the week, so I hope I have fulfilled. Talking about the song itself, I know that for some people it needs no introduction as it is perhaps one of the most famous anime openings in history along with a few others, so surely more than one will enjoy it.
This song has a great meaning for me because Saint Seiya is the anime that introduced me to the otaku world that I enjoy so much, I listen to it frequently and I even think I know the song in the original language which is Japanese, besides, the musical genre that is rock is my favorite, so it's all profit with this song.
To record this cover, I took a track of the band's song and proceeded to remove the original bass with the Moises application, then, I recorded my line with the Cubase 5 audio editing tool. I hope my presentation is to everyone's liking. Best regards!
Quizá sea tonto, pero cuando resolví que participaría en la semana 233 del Hive Open Mic y vi la temática de la semana (Zodiaco), lo que vino a mi mente de inmediato fue el anime Saint Seiya, y bueno, para quienes no sepan, en esa historia existen caballeros o santos inspirados en el zodiaco y en ese sentido decidí que haría un cover de bajo de la canción "Pegasus Fantasy" de la banda MAKE-UP quienes interpretan el opening de los primeros capítulos del mencionado anime.
Probablemente para algunos el zodiaco y todo lo que ese tema conlleva podría tener algún significado, pero para éste servidor no, así que no podría haber encontrado alguna otra canción relacionada con la temática de la semana, es así que espero de igual manera haber cumplido. Hablando de la canción en sí, sé que para algunos no necesita presentación ya que es quizá uno de los opening de anime más famosos de la historia junto con unos pocos más, así que de seguro más de uno lo disfrutará.
Esta canción tiene un gran significado para mi ya que Saint Seiya es el anime que me introdujo en el mundo otaku que tanto disfruto, la escucho con frecuencia e incluso creo que me se la canción en el idioma original que es el japonés, además, el genero musical que es rock es mi favorito, así que es todo ganancia con ésta canción.
Para grabar éste cover, tomé una pista de la canción de la banda y procedí a eliminar el bajo original con la aplicación Moises, luego, grabé mi linea con la herramienta de edición de audio Cubase 5. Espero que mi presentación sea del agrado de todos. ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

The opening is a sample of what this anime can offer, maybe it's not exactly for girls, but believe me there are many emotions and reflections that touch the heart, and well, the whole theme of the zodiac, the Greek gods and other elements of the anime make it very interesting.
