Greetings, dear Hive Open Mic music family! This week I’m very pleased to participate in the 236th edition of this wonderful event that brings together so many music lovers at Hive. The theme that summons us this time is Rumors.
Generally when we hear the word "rumor" we tend to give it a negative connotation, and it can be considered as such, especially when it comes to unsubstantiated hearsay that can affect a person's reputation. However, I believe that a rumor in general may not necessarily have a negative meaning, but simply be about whispers and assumptions about any kind of situation whether it is good or not so good. Anyway, it all depends on the intentionality and circumstances.
For this occasion I bring you a song that I really like by the great Gustavo Cerati, who is no longer with us on this earthly plane but who has left an indelible mark and an extraordinary legacy in Latin American rock. It is "Crimen" (Crime), from his solo album "Ahí Vamos" released in 2006. This song came to my mind for the theme since if there is something that lends itself to rumors and presumptions are precisely crimes of any kind. Without further ado, I present my entry, accompanied by acoustic guitar and made with love. I hope you like it.
¡Saludos, estimada familia musical de Hive Open Mic! Esta semana estoy muy complacida de participar en la edición 236 de este maravilloso evento que reúne a tantos amantes de la música en Hive. La temática que nos convoca en esta ocasión es Rumores.
Generalmente cuando escuchamos la palara Rumor tendemos a darle una connotación negativa, y es que si puede considerarse así, especialmente cuanto se trata de habladurías no comprobadas que pueden llegar a afectar la reputación de una persona. Sin embargo, creo que un rumor en general puede no tener necesariamente un significado negativo, sino simplemente tratarse de murmullos y presunciones sobre cualquier tipo de situación sea buena o no tan buena. En fin, todo va a depender de la intencionalidad y las circunstancias.
Para esta ocasión les traigo una canción que me gusta mucho del gran Gustavo Cerati, quien ya no se encuentra con nosotros en esta plano terrenal pero que ha dejado una huella imborrable y un legado extraordinario en el rock latinoamericano. Se trata de “Crimen”, del álbum como solista “Ahí Vamos” lanzado en 2006. Se me vino a la mente esta canción para la temática puesto que si hay algo que se presta para rumores y presunciones son precisamente los crímenes de cualquier tipo. Sin más, les presento mi entrada, acompañada con la guitarra acústica y realizada con mucho cariño. Espero que les guste.

Debo ser completamente honesta y confesar que no había escuchado este tema, pero me pareció increíble. Hiciste un gran trabajo para adaptar el tono y la canción sonó perfecta, eso habla de tu rango vocal. Como siempre, trayendo grandes presentaciones a la comunidad. Exitosa semana, amiga.

Chama, I had forgotten this song and I started listening to you without reading the post and the lyrics came to my mind little by little, and at the end I read that it was by Cerati, wow, I loved it. You are the queen at finding perfect music for our weekly themes, thank you for that. Your versions are very good, these days when I made my Tuesday recommendations I simply left several music videos on for a while and I indulged myself in music, that's how much of a fan I am hahaha... Si supieras, esta canción Gustavo se la iba a dar a Shakira, entre otras cosas porque consideraba que no iba muy a tono con la propuesta del álbum del que finalmente formó parte. Pero después de pensarlo bien decidió incluirla.
No me imagino a Shakira con esta canción, quizás a la Shakira de los primeros álbumes si.
