apartheid in South Africa, the Nazi anti-Semitism. And these events have huge effects on humans, even till the present day. Deaths, enslavement, exilation, misinformation are some of these effects. Why should so many suffer because of one person's faulty sense of judgement?
It's another Hive Open Mic week, with the theme "Prejudice" by @lisbeth26. A very relevant and brilliant topic. We can't discuss history today without considering some major events based on prejudice like
On a lighter mood, prejudice is why some people sometime ago had the mindset that somehow, negroes didn't make the last stage of evolution and have a remnant of a tail somewhere hidden in their clothes.
Prejudice is not extinct yet, it's still very much present in the society. Discrimination based on gender, race, nationality, religion, etc are practical examples. People who were once discriminated against have done great things on history. How do you or the world get the best a person has to offer if you sentence them without experiencing who they are?
There's a lot wrong in this world and some might seem beyond our control. But we have to realize that to actually effect any kind of change on the world, we have to first deal with ourselves and eliminate genocidal mindsets. So, this is a call to heal put world and treat fellow humans right.

En un tono más ligero, el prejuicio es la razón por la que algunas personas, hace algún tiempo, tenían la idea de que, de alguna manera, los negros no llegaron a la última etapa de la evolución y tienen un remanente de cola en algún lugar escondido en su ropa.
Los prejuicios no se han extinguido todavía, siguen estando muy presentes en la sociedad. La discriminación por razón de sexo, raza, nacionalidad, religión, etc. son ejemplos prácticos. Las personas que en su día fueron discriminadas han hecho grandes cosas en la historia. ¿Cómo puedes tú o el mundo sacar lo mejor de una persona si la condenas sin experimentar lo que es?
Hay muchas cosas que están mal en este mundo y algunas pueden parecer fuera de nuestro control. Pero tenemos que darnos cuenta de que para efectuar cualquier tipo de cambio en el mundo, primero tenemos que tratar con nosotros mismos y eliminar las mentalidades genocidas. Así pues, este es un llamamiento a sanar el mundo y a tratar bien a nuestros semejantes.

wow, this is one of the best presentations that has really touched my heart 💙 this morning. "Heal the world" is a best choice of song that goes with "prejudice" as the theme of the week. Daily, people are dying and the rate insurgencies and economic meltdown is so alarming in some countries of the world today.
