I wasn't sure about the title, but I recognised the song as soon as you started. He did some great songs. I consider myself very lucky to have to life I do. It's all an accident of birth that determines your start in life. Those of us with more than enough should help those who struggle to survive. There's enough food and wealth in the world, but the distribution is wrong.

Yeah it wasn't until I listened carefully to this song that I realised what it was all about. I always think that Gilbert O' Sullivan didn't get the true recognition he deserved. His songs are easily as good as, if not better than many bands and singers that were around in the seventies.
I liked his stuff at the time. There were a lot of good songwriters then.
