HIVE OPEN MIC here we are again!
I just about made it here... but I trusted in the process and worked around my injury to join in! I had to, and of course I wanted to. I love being part of these open mics. They're amazing!
This weeks topic gave me inspiration to cover this song for 2 reasons. Firstly, I currently have an arm injury and it is very frustrating - I can't play guitar solos! The injury is getting very bad, but lucky all week I have been doing rehab and I was able to pick up the guitar today :) if you stay until the end of the video you might see a reaction to how my arm held up haha!
Second meaning is that this song is about parents breaking up. Now, I went through this about 15 years ago now, and of course it is not a fun experience! However, everything happens for a reason, we might not always see the light but good will always overcome evil - we will all rise up! :) if anyone else has been through some dark times and then seen the light, you know what I mean. If anyone is struggling, reach out I'm here for you. I know! You will get through it and things WILL get better!
I guess this also releate to us all on a personal level, we can do it, whatever it is - it is possible :)

It feels quite good today actually, so that is great! :D
