The song I chose to participate is "Amor Misterioso, Angeluz - Habanera", or as it is commonly known as "Habanera", this song belongs to The "Opera Carmen" by G. Bizet, specifically this fragment is quite well known and very popular.

This piece is about a Rebel love, it is an "Aria" for Mezzo-soprano, it is the first movement of the Opera, the performer is Carmen, a Spanish gypsy with a very strong temperament, a cigar maker from the tobacco factory in Seville, Spain. The song is known worldwide, appearing in television advertisements and in several films. It has also been covered, as the group Olé Ole did with Conspiracy.
Está pieza trata sobre un amor Rebelde, es un "Aria" para Mezzosoprano, es el primer movimiento de la Ópera, la intérprete es Carmen una gitana española de temperamento muy fuerte cigarrera de la fábrica de tabacos de Sevilla, España. El tema es mundialmente conocido llegando a aparecer en anuncios de televisión y en varias películas, también la han versionado como lo hizo el grupo Olé Ole con Conspiración.
An interesting fact about this piece is that George Bizet rewrote the piece many times, going from choruses in 3/4 to 6/8, he rewrote it so many times until he and Galii Marie were satisfied. Its premiere was on March 3, 1875, at the Opera - Comiquie, being performed by Galii Marie.

For me, Georges Bizet is a great composer, because his legacy in the music of his time, specifically in the period of Romanticism, transcends from generation to generation, he revolutionized opera in all its splendor with "Habanera", his works have his distinctive seal , which consists of rhythms belonging to their region, very popular, moving. His legacy is fleeting but permanent, his sudden death was a hard blow to his career as a composer, many of his manuscripts were lost, leaving only a few pieces in force to this day.
Para mí, Georges Bizet es un gran compositor, pues su legado en la música de su época específicamente en el período del Romanticismo, trasciende de generación en generación, revolucionó la ópera en todo su esplendor con "Habanera", sus obras tienen su sello distintivo, el cual consiste en ritmos pertenecientes a su región , muy populares, movidos. Su legado es fugaz pero permanente, su repentina muerte fue un golpe duro a su carrera como compositor, muchos de sus manuscritos fueron extraviados , dejando solo pocas piezas vigentes Hasta el sol de hoy
The recording process was somewhat tedious since it is quite difficult to record several voices and making them fit is complicated, apart from the fact that my brothers are somewhat noisy and playful 😅 however it was nice to take on this little challenge 🎶. The adaptation that I wanted to put together was a trio of two Contra alto recorders, and a Tenor recorder, unfortunately I don't have the Tenor recorder and I had to do it only for two voices 😿, I tried to make the voice of the tenor with the soprano flute but its Timbres are different so couldn't get the bass. This adaptation was made by a music teacher, native of my hometown, Maracay, she is an arranger, director, teacher of recorder and transverse flute in addition to directing the "OFA" (Orquesta de flutes de Aragua "), the majority of my repertoire are adaptations made by her.
El proceso de grabación fue algo tedioso ya que es bastante difícil grabar varias voces y hacer que encajen es complicado, a parte que mis hermanos son algo ruidosos y juguetones 😅 sin embargo fue agradable asumir este pequeño reto🎶. La adaptación que quería montar era un trio de Dos flautas dulces Contra alto, y una flauta dulce Tenor, lamentablemente yo no poseo la Tenor y me tocó hacerla solo a dos voces 😿, intenté hacer la voz de la tenor con la flauta soprano pero sus timbres son diferentes asi que no se pudo conseguir los bajos. Está adaptación fue realizada por una profesora de música , nativa de mi cuidad natal, Maracay ella es arreglista, directora, profesora de flauta dulce y traversa a parte de dirigir a la "OFA"( Orquesta de flautas traversas de Aragua "), la mayoría de mi repertorio son adaptaciones hechas por ella.
