Hello everyone. Hope we all had a nice day? Well, Larry began his day in a grand style as he visits a coffee shop to warm himself due to the heavy downpour yesternight . While at the coffee ☕ shop he took his time to take a look at today in #history. And here we go:
Gentlemen, Larry looks at South America and his attention was drawn to Paraguay. Larry discovered that on this day in 1992, a new constitution cane into effect in Paraguay, signaling the end of military rule established in the 1950s by Alfredo Stroessner.
Larry's line of business has to do with mobility and speed. This made him to turn his attention to auto racing and finds out that on this day in 1903, American car racing driver Barney Oldfield achieved the first mile-per-minute performance in Indianapolis, Indiana. This bit of history tickles his fancy and he nodded happily.
Music! That's a genre Larry loves too. He sips his coffee slowly as if he is in a sort of coffee ☕ tasting competition, !LOL. He saw something about Lionel Brockman Richie and he became curious to know more about it. His finding reveals that Lionel Richie, the American singer, songwriter, and producer was born this day in 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama, U.S.A.
Larry feels that the time is ripe for him to take his leave but saw something about Jean-Marie Le Pen. He perused further and saw that the French nationalist who established and led the National Front political party from 1972 to 2011, representing the country's main right-wing opposition to the country's mainstream conservative parties from the 1970s to the early 21st century was born today in La Trinité, France.
With that, Larry felt that he has seen enough for the day, then sipped the last few drops of his coffee tea, exhaled and braced himself up for the day's activities.
