Introduction.
Good day Great Family and Friends,
This post is aimed at telling you how this spend HBD day went down.
The event took place at La'Fresh Restaurant, which is situated at no.103, Faulks Road, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.
I'm delighted with the time and event and venue.
This has a lot to do with the monthly clean your environment government backed exercise taking place today in our city.
Though the spend HBD was scheduled for 12:30, I arrived at 1:30 am.
This event has made my Saturday very special. I have the entire day to work in our environment.
How it all went down.
So, l called @uzoma24, who introduced me to the programme as early as 10 hours to know his position.It paid off! He was still indecisive before now.
We looked at the programme from many dimensions. He made up his made there and then.
It was not long before we took off from our meeting point. He was curious if I knew the address of La'Fresh Restaurant.
Setting Out
We set out about midday and happy to arrive in time.Thanks to the state clean up exercise, coupled with the high cost of fuel, keeping many vehicles off the road, so it was a smooth drive void of traffic congestion.
@uzoma24, and I were not the first to arrive anyway as we met @fokusnow and 3 others.
There wasn't any time to lose as we gingerly walked around with Charles, finding out the menu. Each of us deciding the suitability of the cost implications.
Before one could say Jack Robinson many other family members started walking in and the party was already in top gear.
Below are some other shots I took with my phone while the lunch lasted.
As we made purchases, it was another big occasion for taking pictures and making videos.
We then went further afield to consume the food,thereby bringing the occasion to a suspended animation.
All the while the cameras were clicking!
Faulks around the area were abuzz in a new a way by the presence of the apostles of SpendHBD.
The La'Fresh Restaurant:
This restaurant lives up to her title: "La Fresh". I am eminently qualified to say so, having eaten both the food and fries.
I had my lunch there and took some meat pies home to my family.
I and @uzoma24 left the restaurant at about 2:10 pm but the memory lives.
I therefore look forward to the next time we will be going out to shop as a group.
