As a trusted local guide, my responsibility goes beyond hosting workshops, listing shops, and signing up newbies; it also involves making the hive journey fun for newbies.
Work, work, work, and no fun make life so boring, so yesterday we didn't just work/shop. We decided to have some fun after shopping.
How it started
Yesterday morning I went to a weekend cleaning job and it was a tough one because everywhere is very dusty in Nigeria now, and there are so many buildings in construction that made it very easy for the whole house to be dusty.
Already @ozibaby @nebytes2 @kachy2022 and others you didn't make it said they would love to shop and like I mentioned in my last post we don't just come together to shop but we come together to learn because the hive is a bit complex for newbies and assisting those who are eager to be more active is also essential.
By 3pm, we got to @chiefomart; I made a video tour around Chiefomart while I waited for them to get what they wanted; things were very expensive, but they still got all they needed for their house.
After the shopping, we took an hour to discuss the challenges they face on hive, especially @nebytes2 and @ozibaby, which includes doing hbd transactions on their own without assistance, how to add the source or any external information while making a post on the hive.
So I showed them some free sites to get pictures, how to add links to a post, and how to also add links to external information.
I also cleared up the challenges they face while shopping, and how to avoid making mistakes during payments, after all this, we have our goods that are worth 67 hbd so I said to them "Why not we go have a beer Saturday night, let's go groove a little, have fun and be happy" they agreed and we left to @devillahutbar.
On our way, we got a call from @iquo, and we informed her that we were done with shopping and were heading to the bar for a fun time, she pulled over and drove down to the bar.
Devillahotbar was a little scanty because most people like visiting such places after the day's chores, so the kitchen staff also waited for late hours before preparing meat and fish for sale, we wanted to have fun so we waited for them while we sipped our beer gradually, not quite long they were ready and they had peppered goat meat, grilled catfish, goat meat and cow leg pepper soup, peppered chicken.
We ordered more beer of our choice, pepper soup, and peppered goat meat; it was so good that I felt like I shouldn't stop buying.

That was an opportunity to meet with the manager to inform him that I will be coming in for marketing on 31st December and 1st January which is going to be another busy day there as people will love to have some fun and might likely be interested in #spendhbd project, he was happy to hear that because he knows that will help attract more customers to his bar.
Finally, it was time to go home and rest my head, so we all left for our different homes. I went home, had my bath, and went to bed.
So, gradually, the #spendhbd project is spreading around the whole of Nigeria, I appreciate all trusted local guides who have taken the lead in providing all that is needed to market this project, I also appreciate the distriator for all the support given to help in the marketing of spendhbd.
