Last weekend, I listed @finicky restaurants and had some newbies who joined Hive and enjoyed their discounts.
I am always happy when I see businesses listed in Lagos state Nigeria doing well and having more transactions and claims, this shoulders me with the responsibility of always reaching out to those businesses with Lagos hivers to shop and spendhbd, this is also a golden opportunity to meet with new people who would be interested in hive.
Lagos state is a very large city and people live in different areas of the city that are not close to each other at all, so to succeed as a local trusted guide, there is a need to work according to their schedule and also travel to their different locations to mentor them and host workshop with them.
Spendhbd lunch at @finicky restaurant was fun because we had two newbies who were invited by their friends and they enjoyed spendhbd lunch, we also had people who will sign up on our next spend hbd lunch at @finicky restaurants.
After last week's spending lunch at @finicky restaurants and signing up new users, we agreed on having another spendhbd lunch the next Sunday, which happened to be today, and they also brought their friends, who enjoyed a splendid lunch at @finicky restaurant.
So yesterday evening, I reminded everyone on the Jibowu spendhbd WhatsApp group that we were going to have our lunch at a finicky restaurant after their church service today, and everyone was happy about it, we picked 11 am and that was a perfect time because they were all done with their service.

I informed @kachy2022 and other newbies about the spendhbd lunch at @finicky restaurant some were interested but the distance was quite far but @kachy2022 decided to go with me.
By 10:00 I left to meet with kachy, @kachy2022 and I left from Surulere Lagos to Jibowu, which took us up to an hour or more to get there; on getting there, they were still having a meeting, so we had to wait for more than one hour before we started.

Newbies need to know a lot about Hive, the need to know what consistency and engagement can do for them on hive, it took me an hour or more to explain Hive, the spendhbd project, and how to claim a discount after the transaction.
After the explanation, I signed them up, helped them download the hive keychain and decency from the Play Store, and helped them log in with the proper keys; I also helped them fund their wallet for their transactions, I also helped them to see how to with the V4v.app and claim discount.
I mentored them on how to create content on hive through the use of any front end of their choice but I prefer using Ecency, how to upload images and videos on hive.
@praisee was curious to know where to check for her discount which I quickly showed her from her key chain app, and she was happy.

After signing them up, I had to mentor @analee09, @talktofaith, and @neekypreal on how to subscribe to different communities; they also had some confusion about how hive payout works, which I helped them understand how hive payout works, then they went ahead and bought rice, chicken and snacks and we paid with hbd to @finicky restaurants, they all claimed their discount.

Conclusion
Yes it was stressful due to is a very far place from my home but the stress was worth it because I had more newbies and that adds value to hive which is my goal.
After mentorship and having our lunch, we Left back to our house we also took us hours to get home.
Am bullish about spendhbd project and won't give up no matter the challenges, I consider it a great privilege to be part of this project, and i appreciate the distriator for their support.
