Hi everyone, This Is another day in the life of a #spendhbd trusted local guide in the street of Lagos who is looking for shops to list and new users to onboard.
After having breakfast I left my house by 10:am, with the plan of going to some listed shop to see if I could get new customers to onboard, I visited @goshopping and @shoegardaddy2 shop, I spent some time there,, unfortunately no one came around, everywhere is so dry, people are just managing with what they have.
I said let me try out a new shop, so I went to a lady's shop that had household items like hangers, brushes, trash cans, and many more.
She agreed to list her shop but it must be if there is any customer to demonstrate how spendhbd works, at that point I was just tired so I quickly went to a roadside food shop to get roasted plantain and fried groundnut
After my lunch, I went to meet with @talktofaith at Yaba to check back in with the cosmetics shop owner that we went to last Friday, I got to Yaba by 2:pm and I waited for @talktofaith to get there, after like 30 mins she got there and we both went to meet with the business owner.
After lots of explanations on what hive and spendhbd are all about, the business owner said he was not interested.
So I decided to asked him why, sadly he said he lost over 200 million Naira on a crypto project years back when the Nigerian Government started arresting people for investing on crypto, hive was among the crypto he invested on then, even now the government are against anything crypto projects so if he accepts and tomorrow the Nigerian Government comes for hive that it will affect his business.
It's so sad that our government is obstructing things that will help its citizens to survive, but we will keep pushing.
So after a very long discussion with Him, we left to a fast food where we sat down to make plans for our next marketing, so after relaxing for a while we agreed on going to the University of Lagos to see if we could get students who will be interested, but not today because it was late.
Some pictures from Yaba
On my way back, I decided to check on some of the pharmacies to see if I could meet with the owners but unfortunately, I didn't meet them, I also checked back on Devine Care Pharmacy, and he said the wife didn't accept the proposal so he can't embark or something that the wife refused.
I was very tired, and hungry and it was already late, so I took a bus to my house, close to my house I saw a pineapple seller, I bought pineapple for myself.
Come and enjoy with me.
Marketing is not an easy job, there are always challenges and discouragements, especially in a country like mine but that won't make us give up, we will keep on trying our best to promote #distriator #spendhbd project.
Marketing has to be the hardest job to do for any business or project. To get people to buy your idea especially when it seems off from the normal way of doing things is tough. You did a great job today,#well done!🙂
It was such a stressful one today, but we will definitely break through.
Definitely
You are doing a great job, keep it up
Thank you
Marketing is not an easy task but I'm convinced that many stores will come to understand the benefit of listing their shop. I also hope Nigerian government would review their stance on cryptocurrencies soon. Well done!
Thank you dear, we will keep pushing
Sending you an Ecency curation vote!
