Another splendid day in the life of a trusted local guide, daily marketing, and daily success is the goal, more business to be listed and more sign-ups for more transactions.
In my last report, I mentioned that I would do whatever I could to reach out to as many as possible, let them hear and also enjoy this awesome discount from spendhbd, and let them come and add more value to the hive ecosystem.
Daily Report.
I woke up, had my breakfast and bath, and then picked up my marketing tool, which is my fliers, I stepped out in search of businesses and new users.
My first attempt was a supermarket named K and P mart
On getting there the security told me the owner wasn't around but I could speak with the manager, so I had a lengthy discussion with the manager, I also mentioned some shops they know that have been listed, but the manager said she wasn't in the right position to make such decision, she has to discuss with the shop owner so I dropped the spendhbd flier with her and my contact as well and she promised to get back to me.
I came out, thinking where next to go, I now saw this big shoe shop where women were buying shoes, I worked in with all boldness and introduced myself, fortunately, I met with the owner of the shop so it was a direct conversation, he was scared when I mentioned buying hive with the money and swapping it for transactions, so he told me that his problem is to have his money handy, that there has been a lot of online advertisement and other stuff that has taken his money, I promised him that before I leave his shop he will get the money in a currency he wishes to.

He sells original foreign female shoes, he buys directly from China and the UK, and he has so many rich working-class ladies that come to buy shoes from him, the quality of his goods is what always attracts ladies to his shop.
After I was able to convince him, he asked me to go ahead and list his business. I took pictures of the shop, got the address, and used the spendhbd community sign-up page to sign him up, he downloaded the Hive keychain from his phone.
And his shop was fully listed.

A lady was already picking the shoes she wanted, I approached her and told her how she would benefit from buying and paying with HBD, but she was reluctant about the whole thing, she said "I don't have time, I don't like revealing my identity in social media, It might be a scam"* I told her that all her assumptions where wrong because no one is demanding for her personal information or identity.
After a lot of talks, she agreed to sign up, which I quickly did with the spendhbd community sign-up link. I helped download the hive keychain wallet, so the shoes she bought were equivalent to 43 hbd, so I found her hive account, and we proceeded to the transaction.
After the first transaction, she said, "No, I will have to do a second and third one." "I thought it was a joke," She continued, after 20mins she did the second transaction, and I quickly sent her the equivalent of her discount to her traditional bank account.
At that point, @shoegardaddy was still afraid because he wanted his money before I left his shop, So he quickly moved the money to an exchange and was able to get his money in naira, but before then, he was surprised to see the money in his hive keychain wallet.

After that, another guy worked in, and he bought shoes from @shoegardaddy2 and resells, so after an explanation, he decided to sign up. His username name is @nomso11. Unfortunately, after the signup, his phone went off, and we couldn't conduct any transactions, but tomorrow, I will go back to meet with him.

As I was just about to leave, @tega0 called me to come help her out at the @goshopping store, so I went to assist her in shopping because she always forgot what to do and where to start.

Summary
It was a hectic day, but the achievement and joy went beyond the stress and struggles.
I came back home and made banga soup, and I ate, it's time to rest.
That was how a Lagos state-trusted local guide spent her day.
