When one is positive about a project you put in your best to help the project grow, That is exactly what am doing, its taking my time and resources to reach as many as possible and I really love what am doing, I wish I could just be getting positive reports all the time, unfortunately, I can't determine how someone will respond to information.
University of Lagos is in my schedule for this week spendhbd Marketing because I have this strong belief that with just a connection there then we will have thousands of shoppers and hivers from the University of Lagos so I will not stop till I get the connection.
On Saturday evening, I reached out to @talktofaith to accompany me to the University of Lagos because it is never easy to do marketing alone, she agreed that we would leave for the University of Lagos by 10:am, which was a very good time.
Preparation for marketing.
I quickly got to print more flyers because I had exhausted the ones I had and Marketing without flyers wouldn't really make sense, After printing flyers I Left for Unilag, it took me an hour to get there because it was a little bit far from my axis when I got there, I had to wait for @talktofaith for some minutes, so I use that time to make some investigations on the businesses in the school premises.
The major thing is to get the consent of business owners, list the business, and then gradually onboard their customers.
After a while, @talktofaith came, and we proceeded to see businesses we could list.
Meeting with Poppas popcorn 🍿
Poppa's Popcorn is one of the big businesses in the school environment, this business is located inside the Moremi hall garden on the school premises, he has over 1000 students that buy popcorn from him every day, so I thought of listing his business onboarding his customers to use hbd and make payments for their popcorn.
I met with Mr Adeyimi, who is the owner of the business, after greetings, I explained to him what hive is all about, and then I told him about the big project known as spendhbd.
Fortunately, he is already into cryptocurrency and that made it easier for him to understand what we were talking about but he has some reservations, he was worried about the instability of crypto price which can lead to him losing money at some point, and also what will be his gain if he decides to start using v4v pos instead of other POS that actually pays him some interest at the end of the month.
He also wanted to know how seamless transactions with hbd can be and if there is any possibility of him swapping hbd to usdt, which is his favorite stablecoin.
All those questions show that he was really interested and he wanted to know in figure what he would gain for promoting the spendhbd project since he already has thousands of customers.
I tried my best to give him reasons, I also showed him how seamless the transaction can be,showed him other exchange where he can swap hive to any coin of his choice, he said he couldn't just agree to it immediately, he needs to think about it first, I would need to come back next time so that we could come to an agreement on what would be his gain in the business.
We exchanged contact, and I left. The school environment was already getting dry because the students were having their exams, so I came back hoping to meet him next week to see if he would give me consent to list his business, I will also check on other businesses in the school environment.
We left the school, and I stopped by the Go shopping business and some other businesses around the Aguda market surulere to know how they are doing, then discuss when it would be possible to host a workshop in their shops to attract more users.
The Sun became more intense so I had to run back home and give a report of my journey today as a spendhbd project marketer

It was a positive one amongst a lot of marketings we have done recently.
But I saw reasons with his question, especially when he asked what is in for him in figures as the business owner that wants to promote SpendHBD.
I think the team should look into this argument, because if there is something in for the business owners, they would be more interested in the SpendHBD project.
